Goal tending isn't as much of a factor as it used to be. Chicago didn't need outstanding goaltending, nor did Detroit or Boston.

I was under the impression that there was a window where he could sign in the NHL after his KHL schedule was over. That's why I thought there might be time.

Myers is a way better skater then I ever expected for someone with his size.  Very smooth.

I disagree.  O'Reilly is signed for this year and next and then is a UFA.  With the way his prior negotiations have gone with Colorado, I would put the chances of the Jets re-signing him at slim.   He is going to want to explore free agency.
 
Bogo on the other hand is signed for the next 5 years (including this one).    You'd basically be giving up Bogo for a year and a half rental period.  If we were a possible contender, maybe.  But we aren't, so what are you really buying with that trade?
 
If you are dead set on trading Bogo, I believe there is a better deal to be had out there.

Trouba and Buff are better than Bogo... if we can afford to keep them all great.  Trying to think of a team that has a 5.5 million 3rd D pairing.
 
You're on glue if you think Petan, Ehlers and Copp will all be on the roster next year - probably just one of them, would think Petan.
 
I think we see Morrissey and Glover before Copp ever makes this roster.
 
And not re-signing Frolik would be just plain stupid.  If forwards were a dime a dozen, everyone would roll four lines every game.
 
Finding someone who gels with Kane and Lowry puts us in the elite of the league... you need three #1 lines to make a playoff run these days.

Sure its a hockey play, but it is an illegal one.  It is called cross checking.  And he did it to Perreault at the end of a play where it wouldn't normally be expected.  Unfortunate for Carcillo, but they suspend based on the result and reputation.  He has a bad reputation and the result was he took Perreault out for at least that game.

I like the way they're using our goalies, mostly b/c it's been working for us. Pavelec has proven that he can't handle the starter's job as a full time gig, and Hutchinson hasn't really proven anything yet. There's no need to push the role on him yet.

Drew Willy will be number one.

Mike Benevides  runs a more aggressive system.... Richie Hall  runs a more layed back bend dont break kinda system.
 
Id take Bene just because i like a more aggressive type D but im sure either will do fine and a better then Etch.
