It's curious to me, for sure. So if you trade him to Toronto....who do you get in return? Because you NEED a vet QB....I sure as **** don't trust Nichols to get the job done the rest of the season.....

I can't see anyone trading for Willy.

To weigh in on Dressler and Smith - they're too small IMO - how many games have they played so far this season? Though I do like Smith - I think once healthy he'll be a real threat - Dresslers' best days are long behind him though. He needs the ball a lot to be really effective and every time he gets hit now I think to myself "is he going to get up". I believe it was his second game for the bombers too where Willy had him deep, and threw a very nice pass. Problem was the DB was 6'0 and Dressler is 5' 7" - no contest DB easily knocked the ball away. Dressler is more of a 'wide open' guy he won't win many battles. I'd like to see Smith back of course but IMO I'd rather see Denmark in there over Dressler. 
As for the thread topic - yup - Eskie's defense is getting better but are still a shadow of the old one. Nice comment on Willis though.  Willis and his stupid, shelfish 'swaggerville' in Wpg. How embarrassing. Nice to see he's grown up - and ADMITTED IT  (he's even embarrarssed by that schtick as he should be). Never liked 'swaggerville'. But I find Willis this year seems to be a step behind. In the first half he had Durant and Durant outran him then overpowered another Esk for a first down (Durant is a monster no doubt about it) - Willis probably catches him even last year. I think this could be Willis' last year in the league unless he has a nagging undisclosed injury

I've never seen that side of Durant that you're referring to as an arrogant team player. i think he has a very good rep as a team leader with the Riders.

I guess he would have been told that if he had gone through the proper channels. You guys live in your dream world if you want, but make no mistake Bomo was just trying to make the Riders look bad.  Do you honestly think he was just a good guy looking out for the betterment of the league?

The reasonable move, if BLM was actually concerned about the Riders' roster management, would be to contact the league, at which point they would have informed him there was an ongoing investigation.

It definitely shouldn't matter, and I think it's kinda lame that we have a thread this long dedicated to what's going on at RF.com........
 
..........that said.......after everything we've gone through in the last 10 years or so, we're going to take a LOT of joy in seeing our arch-rival go through something similar. A LOT........

Riders fans don't bother me at all. I like their enthusiasm and blind homerism....
As long as they're having fun, who cares what they say or think, or whether they know a lot about football. 99 percent of Bombers fans, (including myself) know very little about the nuts and bolts of football.
Their site is super busy, they have long threads for every game....  Lot of people from here read and post there.
For sure Do or die posts there.

I also feel for Ripper and most Rider fans. The team we love and follow can`t win every game, or even compete in every game, but real fans want their team to conduct itself with fair play and dignity. The Murphy/Jones cabal is not only failing to win, it is opening the Riders to ridicule and condemnation. Those of us who still wake up screaming from nightmares of the debacles of the Mike Kelly regime know your frustration, anger and pain. And yours is just beginning.
 

That's what the storey is if there is one. Riders likely have more players than usual.

I listen to his radio show everyday. I don't mind him but don't look to him as a source of anything important. He is basically a team lapdog and defends anything they do no matter what. I like a reporter to report the good and the bad ask some tough questions.

How do I respect Hank when he goes on television & in the middle of a game he's complaining about how TSN panelists are treating him badly? Some fans say this is great television. I say it's a personal embarrassment for the guy.

What Ripper is getting at, is every team does what BLM is accusing the riders of. So if you want them investigated, it would need to extend to every team.
