I was reading them as well…. So delusional. Can’t wait until Jones picks him up and he takes Fajardos head off. That’ll change their tune pretty quick.

As much as I'm a lifelong Bombers fan and lifelong Riders hater, I don't actually want to see this happen as I don't want to see any player intentionally injured by a jackass like Marino, not even Cody - hopefully Marino never sees a single down in the CFL ever again. Having said that, it would be karma biting Saskatchewan on the ass once more 🙄.

I watched the first half live and then had to go off and broadcast a lacrosse game on the radio (I have a weird job...) and came back after it was over. The wife, who is well trained, had it paused at the half when I got home and ready to FFWD.

**** you "Kid Canada" and all the jerking off everyone did. Zach Collaros puts on an absolute clinic and proves why he's still the MOP, *****...

To be fair, I do think Rourke has a bright future and will be one of the better QBs in the league... but our D taught him a painful lesson Saturday night, and Zach is still king 😎

  3. I usually have the lowest opinion imaginable about RiderFans, but outside of a few people there, at least this time it seems they also think what Marino did was horsesh!t (and rightfully so). TBF, some of them are also playing the "what about" game with the earlier hit to Robertson, but at least there are some people who aren't completely blinded by homer-ism to see that this kind of dirty crap shouldn't be excused at any time, so I'll give them that much.

And just as a reminder that I know you don’t need reminding,  once you pick up all your Bomber swag and take it back here to Alberta please do your best John Travolta strut in wearing it wherever you go. Trust me you’ll make tons of friends here in Elk and Stamp land.

I'll be having tons of fun wearing my 2021 Grey Cup Champions cap at next year's Stamps/Bombers game... after that nothing loss to end the regular season, some drunken ass waiting for the C-Train kept crowing about how they were going to knock off the Riders, then come into IG Field and trounce the Bombers too. Revenge is a dish best served cold 😝

  5. Was busy watching the game with family, so got to the forums late, but...
    WE THE CHAMPS AGAIN!!!

But damn, that last minute or so of regulation might have taken a decade or so off my life... and possibly some ulcers 😅

Still, crazy ending, and of course our D sealed that win for us. Never been happier to be a Bombers fan in my life - 2 straight Grey Cup wins after 29 years of hopelessness. Hats off to Hamilton's D for making it a tough one.

I don't think so at all. I think if we win another cup the chance he retires is high.

I love the guy and I want him to have a great life post football. I'd love to see him coach. I don't want to see him go all emit Smith playing way past when his body can hold up.

I think if he can go another season playing the way he did in the West Final (and we win the Cup, of course) I'm all for having Andrew back, but if he wants to call it a career after winning the Cup again, I'd be fine with that too; with Brady and Johnny in the wings - assuming we have both of them back - I'm not too concerned with our running game, although 33 is, if not the GOAT, at least one of the greatest running backs ever to suit up in Blue and Gold. Yes, he'll be 35 next year, which is getting pretty old for a player in his position, but if he can keep going at anywhere close to 100%, I'm totally on board. tl;dr Whatever Mr. Harris decides is okay with me.

If we hit Collaros the way Alexander hit Fajardo you would’ve called for an ejection. CF had clearly given himself up.

If Collaros slides similarly and takes a shot like that, would you say the same thing?

For once I slightly agree with a Riders fan... 🤮 Though to be fair, I don't think Brandon was head-hunting for Fajardo, just didn't stop his momentum - but didn't seem intentional to me. It definitely was a play worthy of a penalty, which he got. Overall, a fair call. Having said all that, I really hope we've gotten the turnover bug out of our system, since the only reason that we're headed to the Grey Cup again after having committed 6 turnovers is that Sask is just that inept 🤣

It's been 2 years since I had a chance to see the Bombers live (and what a chance that was) damned right I'm gonna watch this team.

Same. We try to get to every game we can when the Bombers come here, so our group of 3 are going regardless of the fact that it means pretty much nothing (other than momentum) to either team. Still kinda regretting not getting Grey Cup tickets 2 years ago, even if they were damned expensive - winning the Cup here in Calgary was a dream come true 😁

who cares honestly. The Blue Bombers are the benchmark this year, they are setting the standard. Why do we need to justify our play against how the rider's played that team? Seems silly.

Great- the riders held stanback to fewer yards, good for them. They measure what they accomplished against how we fared- as it should be, The top of the league IS the measuring stick. What do we need worry about? Let the rider faithful do their thing, it's actually quite the compliment- so we should take it as such. The LDC and BB were the weeks we needed to worry about the riders and their faithful- we responded with 23-8 and 31-9 respectively. We can worry about all that noise when (if) it matters.

33-9, actually, but who's counting? 🤣🤣🤣 The green pukes can keep beaking off, but until they actually beat us - which won't happen - it's all noise...

Lucky enough myself to see 4 Grey Cups now. My experience in 2019 was not weeping but just sheer relief that the drought was over. Watching with friends that day and it was remarked how quiet I was when they figured I would be bouncing off the roof. I realized what a mental toll all the losing had on me and was more numb than joyful. Repeated watchings of the win brought more exuberance later.

Same for myself, being born in 1978, but we had WAAAAY too many lean years and the 5 disappointments in between 1990 and 2009... It's nice to see the Bombers not resting on their laurels after ending the drought and just as dominant as ever this year.

We will clinch the division this weekend. Book it!

I don't really care about the back to back with the Als, whether we lose any or not.

But I want the Bombers to beat the Stamps on our last regular game.
Just to tell Bo that "They’re finding out who they are right now, and we’re going to continue to show that to them."

Since I'll be going to that game - as I do virtually every time the Bombers come to play here over the last 18 years - I want them to win as well... having said that, we might not be giving our starters the full game if we've already got the division in the bag (which I assume we'll clinch this Saturday, long before the final week).

To all the fans who saw their first Bomber Grey Cup win.... Welcome to the club. We've been waiting for you to join us for a long time.

That wasn't just a win. It was total dominance. One of, if not the most lobsidded Grey Cup victory in recent memory.

Now, onto figuring out how to repeat next year. 😁

Saw 3 of them in my first 12 1/2 years of life, but took nearly another 3 decades for the 4th. Really hope I'm not 70 when we get #5...
But yeah, to those who've never seen one until now, never forget it! Here's hoping the boys can get back to back trophies!

    GO BOMBERS GO!!!

Earlier in the season I was critical of TSN for cutting away from a Bombers game to start the next one and a couple people heeled on me for not PVR'ing TSN3.  So I set TSN 3 to record Bombers games after that.  Had a busy afternoon and was thrilled to learn the "Bombers channel" actually joined the game in progress in the 3rd quarter.  Fortunately, a buddy texted me shortly before 4 to ask if I was watching and I able to set a new recording.

Moral of the story is, record every TSN channel because lord only knows what and when they'll show.

Thats my contribution to this thread. 😉

    Go Bombers!

Honestly I don't trust TSN to do anything right, so I'll generally choose TSN3 by default for Bombers games, especially living in Calgary where there's the chance they'll switch to something else. It is kind of weird that they didn't show that whole game on 3, though, so dunno what to say about that one.

The hit to the head should have been called but I don’t see it as an impact on the result.  It would have still come down to a highly improbable Hail Mary pass.

Exactly this - I wouldn't have lost a ton of sleep had they called a penalty... all it would do would give the Riders 15 more yards and it would have still been the 3rd stringer throwing it with 8 seconds left since Bridge was injured anyhow.

Either way, the Bombers are coming here to Calgary!!! Time to shoot those dead horses and get to the Grey Cup!

So, you'd take a 350 yard 3 TD performance with a loss over what Nichols did yesterday? C'mon man. That's not true & you know it.  I wouldn't. Mike Reilly will get to over 5,000 yds passing & his team is in last place.

THIS. I'll take this performance for every game left in the season and playoffs if it means we get a Grey Cup again for the first time since I was 12 years old 👍

It was the way he celebrated....... and it was over the top for what he finally accomplished...... he should have reacted with a fist pump, ran and congratulated Adams,  An then got off the field acting like he has done it hundreds of times before.  The way he did it made it look more like he was trying to give it to the boo birds of the stadium who called him out during his 4 game winless streak.

I was ambivalent on it, but by the same token, I wasn't about to crap all over it either... it was a nice play, so I'm fine with it.

Obviously Matt came into the game with something to prove. On only his second pass of the game he did what everyone says he can't do; hit the deep ball when it matters. As if that weren't enough, he did it to our arch rivals who made him look like absolute dogshit in his own barn the last time he played them. That TD ended up being the only point we would need to win the game.

Matt could have flossed on the W before cartwheel-summersaulting into the splits for all I care.

True. Mind you, the only point we needed to win the game came via Gaitor prior to that :)
