My understanding is that the FDA has been forced to work under a different set of rules for supplements. IE drugs and food additives are obligated to show some reasonable research to show safety (not always accurate but at least something) but in the case of supplements the FDA is obligated to show product is not safe. Putting the burden of proof on the regulator and holding the budget of the regulator down to prevent the testing means profits for some people. Pretty much someone has to die before the FDA can act on supplements. Similarly certain not to be named MLM's continue to operate because of financial regulatory capture and being politically connected. So buyer beware. I am also afraid for my football heros when it comes to pain killers. 
No more debbie downer post for me for a while. I am still enjoying end of the drought. I smile every time I see the grey Cup championship t shirt my future son in law gave me. 

I was really impressed with how involved Whitehead was with cheerleading and celebrating despite being a healthy scratch.  He was quite obviously committed to "being there" and "being ready", the way other guys reacted to him it seems like everybody really felt like he had good reason to be celebrating just like the players who ended up on the field for the big game (which IMO means they felt he contributed)

Great move by the Blue....   depends on the contract but we may have enough room to sign Nichols also.   I'm sure he's loyal enough to take a 200k 

That's not being thrown under the bus at all and it wasn't the club who went to the media.
Being thrown under the bus would be Walters holding a press conference and saying something like "due to his game manager status and being injury-prone, we've decided to cut ties with Matt Nichols and focus on signing a real QB... Zach Collaros".
The reality is that once they made the choice that they want to bring Collaros back, they had 3 options with Nichols:
A) Give him a heads up so he can start making other plans
B) say nothing and leave him twisting in the wind
C) give him false hope that he'll be back as QB1.
They chose the most professional and respectful route available to them.

Now to get Brandon Banks on an off - season program that will give him the cardio needed when he's targeted 3 times in a row...

Not always a given. Once I think she complimented my butt when she looked at me and said,"What an ass",  but I'm still not sure.

After they won the Grey Cup, this accurately describes my off-season, to date.

I always have low hopes for a really tall receiver that the NFL isn't interested in.

And we will find out next season whether that "something" was Jason Maas.

I agree with this, as I was beginning to get fairly frustrated with the Offences play around that time of year.... But it could also be a combination of things...playing better teams, other teams finally jelling a bit, poor game plans, defenses adjusting to Bomber game plans. It's not always just the QB. In the same way it's not always the OC. I do remember cursing a lot saying "There was literally no one running down field on that play", that's not on a QB. I can also remember saying "Adams had his guy beat! Nichols wouldn't throw it!" Obviously that's not on the OC.

I haven't bought any yet either. I have been dropping serious Xmas hints and if that doesn't work or I want more then to the store with a big bag. Last week exposed a serious lacking with only 3 shirts to wear for the work week, A championship shirt would be very appropriate for next year's grey cup week. 

Oh the board will thrive. Conflict creates activity. As you can see the post cup after glow is almost gone and Lapo is a good target for the wrath of only winning one Grey Cup. Obviously the team should have got a better QB and OC and stayed an extra day to win another cup.
