  1. Past hour
  2. That Antonio Brown did not make the pro bowl for any team. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antonio_Brown_(wide_receiver,_born_1978)
  3. Agree with this. I think Buck struggles hard at adjusting in-game.
  4. Then I look at a team like the Argos or Lions and envy their receiving depth .. they always seem to have someone new, each year, capable of stepping in and making an impact. I also think Buck isn't exactly an offensive mastermind (and is somewhat handicapped having cut his teeth under LaPo).
  5. This camp and start to this year just feels like a giant cluster-**** so far.
  6. Yup, cut a returner (OG Antonio Brown) for I think not knowing the No Yards rule. Guy ended up making the pro bowl for Miami Dolphins.
  7. Honestly, from a roster standpoint we need a Corner or OT way more than we need DT depth. I reckon that's where Oak's salary goes. It hurts a bit, but you make the smart choices, not the ones that feel good.
  8. Exactly. And that vet team won a GC in 2004 so good luck getting Osh to change that mentality.
  9. Receivers, I mean Schoen? They’ve brought in quite a few others that got the job done over the years, just not all top of the league or anything. Returners before Grant, we had some decent, some not. Troy Stoudermire, Charles Nelson, Ryan Lankford all had their moments. Again not spectacular, but average-solid. I’m still holding out for Chris Smith, guy looked really good and @Booch said he’s kicking around still.
  10. I have a feeling that Brady wont be playing. Even if he is healthy, I can see them sitting him out as he's only practiced a couple of days all camp and season so far.
  11. I'd replace the bolded part with suck. Yes I'm juvenile but truthful. 🙂
  12. Was it Dave that used to have the saying that every rookie == one loss?
  13. Ritchie is exactly who this being overly loyal to vets reminds me of. Loved the guy as a person and a coach but it bit him and the club in the ass.
  14. I’d like to see it too, no way it’s happening. $5 says he goes to Montreal
  15. Argos are an organization who are always looking for "the next one" .. it keeps the team competitive both on the field and from a salary cap perspective. I still think Oakman has a tonne of juice but the Boatmen have a deep defensive line.
  16. My guess is that his replacement got sacks against BC.
  17. Yeah drop off from a couple spots. But really Jefferson has always been a nice piece that you hope can create enough havoc on the downs he shows up to not kill you on the plays when he just completely does his own thing and not his job, runs right past the play giving a huge lane for QB to take off/step up, decides he has no interest in thinking about the possibility of a run. That's who he's been since the day he set foot in the league. My issue with him is that we've made him an every down player, we've tried to make him a leader and haven't realized he's a nice complimentary player, not a one man pass rush. Fajardo carved him up last week with the over pursuit. If I'm an OT I'd rest easy the week I'm facing Jefferson, especially now when we are looking weaker across the front. A guy like Orimolade would keep me up at night.
  18. Oakman would certainly be a nice add.....A huge presence on the D Line BUT like some suggest we most likely stick with the status quo over experience.....We shall see
  19. Today
  20. Marion would actually be worth a look imo. Roster him instead of schmekel, gives us a back up rotational ni de who contributes on teams. Salary, age, and the fact they have young talented guys to who stepped in.
  21. Outside of Biggie starting at MLB and a new WR to replace Lawler, I don't expect much.
