  2. Yikes, something in the water over there when it comes to TC injuries every year.
  3. Gappers have lost another starting OL to long term injury according to Dunk. Phillippe Gagnon suffers torn bicep. Not season ending but close. Started almost all games last year at RG for the Als.
  4. Ok....what about weight of all these guys, YAC ability, speed testing, ability to contribute on teams etc. He is of below average height, far below average weight, and has mediocre testing numbers and not much for YAC or ST ability. If it was solely a height thing I guess he's average in his competition....but there are also many other factors working against him.

  6. I know this has been done in the US (my friends stumbled upon https://juicysfamousfairfood.com/ when they were in Florida) and it gets pretty good reviews. This place didn't have games though so your idea might be a step up in providing that carnival feel. Personally, I couldn't see it being a regular thing for me but I don't have kids so I'm probably not the target market for that kind of place. Would definitely try it a couple times though.
  7. No sight id rather see Does happen yeah. Guys play through every kind of injury. Not usually for to long though. I remember Harris playing hurt at a time he could barely walk back to the line. Then got pulled after a couple snaps.
  8. I was watching Aaron Gordon play with a Grade 2 hamstring strain in Game 7 this weekend. And I got curious about what that was, and it turns out that a Grade 2 is actually a partial tear. I know it's Game 7, but the dude could barely move and didn't really help his team. Do football players play with Grade 2 tears? it seems like playing with a bad hamstring is just begging for a full tear.
  9. Hi guys. I've been sitting on a restaurant theme for a while and figured I'd Guage the reaction here first. As some of you may know, I own a few concession trailers, mostly based on carnival foods. I've been floating the idea of opening up a carnival foods style joint. Carnival themed, with some games, of course all the carnival favorites. A new weekly item from the ridiculous American midways. Of course would still carry the burgers, fries, etc but the angle is on the carnival stuff. Cheese curds, hand Dipped corndogs, blooming onion, Funnel cake, oreos, donuts, etc etc Does this tickle anyone's fancy or nah. Keep it to an annual novelty
  10. I've yet to meet anyone who doesn't appreciate the Trews at least somewhat.
  11. So refs aren’t an issue with Canadian teams? I would say they are. lol. Game 3 vibes here with them pretty much deciding the game here. Kane is a piece of **** but that’s not even close to a penalty

  15. I'm thinking the problems were equally distributed among all involved in our kick returning game.
  16. there were only two series in the 1967 playoffs https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1967_Stanley_Cup_playoffs There were three series in 1932: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1931–32_NHL_season
  17. That doesn't quite make sense considering the Leafs won the cup in 1967
  18. Sure but here is who he is competing with: Jamaal Pritchett 5'8 Xavier Gipson 5'9 Dymere Miller 5'11 Malachi Corley 5'11 Arian Smith 6'0 Pokey Wilson 6'0 Brandon Smith 6'1 Tyler Johnson 6'1 Irvin Charles 6'4 Quentin Skinner 6'5
  19. How fun would it have been if we had met the Panthers in the finals this year? Ahh PM you wanted us to win the Cup, remember?
  20. which was my point. We are just going in circles now.
  21. I would think there is a high probability he returns late in the season. His size works against him in the NFL imo. He doesn't flash any kind of outstanding testing numbers and is small. He will get a look based on his resume here, but in the NFL guys his size and speed rarely get any kind of a real look. There is a very real chance he doesn't even make it to camp. If he does, he will need luck on his side to make it past first cuts. Sorry...but 6 foot 175 lbs is very small for the NFL.
  22. Not sure what thread this fits in, but the Bombers bringing in the Trews for the Home Opener Half Time Show. Frig I love those guys... Gonna be a hell of a time.
  23. YEAH there is that too....as I was alluding to I bet teams...even player would be leary...also....NFL teams would want a say on the field it's played on...inspect/approve of playing surface...etc....If I was a big money player I wouldn't risk it...maybe some fringers might....but even they would be risking a lot Guys train hard and never take breaks now either...hence why you see so many non-contact injuries now...Ligaments and tendons unlike a muscle need time to heal/recoup...they dont grow in size/strength like a muscle does with constant use...much the oppositr...they are what they are and dont change until you obliterate one...or have a surgically repaired one...either by graft from your own body, or a synthetic...They used to do cadaver hosts to fix them at one point, but then was discovered if the host had a genetic issue or history in family of cancer...or other disease it could manifest at some point in the athlete that got the donor ligament/tendon...go figure eh> Thats why u see a ton of NBA injuries too know....no rest ever...fast paced moving...
  24. Lord knows the Jets are in no position to cut people too.
  25. Booch you might be able to answer this - I saw someone say the risk of soft tissue/ligament injuries is heightened with flag football because the speed of the game would change so much. Is there any truth to that?
