  1. Past hour
  2. Thats on top of the 400k increase from last year.
  3. Agree. I'm looking for guys that are taking the next step. I think Brissett is one of those
  4. Eighty years? Some guys gonna live to 115??? CFL players need to find a job. Use their team's connections as well as their education to find careers. Like they did in the 50's & 60's. That was the big attraction for players coming up here in the CFL or Canadians coming out of university. Teams would find players full time jobs. It was a reason why players from the US stayed in Canada after their careers were over. Most of these players never had a problem with transitioning. A lot of players now just seem like slobs wearing sweats all day, Not working while they play, Just work out in the off season & do nothing else. It's okay if a player is established in the NFL but CFL players need to have a career job. Then the transition from playing is much easier.
  5. We need more than nice. We need impact.
  6. Today
  7. I wish they would do same day weigh ins... the weight cutting is ridiculous.
  8. I dunno...it's probably just a really difficult transition for some guys. They've spent their entire life doing this one thing and then whether they like it or not...it's over. Then they realize they have anywhere from 60-80 yrs of life left and don't know what to do.
  9. Opening Ceremonies start at 1 pm central time
  10. 😬 Instead of a fight, he gets a trip to the hospital.
  11. I agree....reciever and dline are huge priorities and we should do all we can to get the best available at each spot....National or Import and work the ratio accordingly....lose the rigid mindset I as well am not too concerned with the oline and the expunging of Kolo alone will havea huge effect and ripple it's way right out to each tackle I fully expect Bryant back as his farewell season and a Bryant/Wallace/Eli/Neuf/Randolph group as starters breaking camp with Vibert as the 6th alone is more than just fine We also have Vanterpool who could factor into the mix, and a couple nice prospects coming to camp...Thats not even counting FA and the Draft where maybe we strike gold...if so even better and pretty sure a real OC this yr will rectify most of if ot all the confusion and turnstile looking things we saw last yr
  12. Gittens Jr would be a nice add in free agency.
  13. My 2 cents.... I am OK with brining back Willie, I also would have understood if we moved on.....Like many here I feel is not an every down player...but we shall see..... I believe getting rid of the Jackson/Hogan offence is a really big upgrade, nothing against either guy, but everyone who follows the team saw something was not cohesive within our offence...... I have been very happy with our signings, and happy to see a few of our older and possibly lower end talent guys being moved on from.... I am actually not incredibly concerned with our O-line....Hopefully a bit of focus in this and the next couple drafts, fill our cupboards again... Receiver and D-line are our biggest needs.....We need one good import and one good CDN receiver, not sure who will be left in FA but we need IMO at least one of each....DL, Vaughters was fine, but we don't need fine, we need better, again not sure who makes it to FA, but I would like to see a CDN rotational piece and at least one at minimum semi proven import to compete outta FA....
  14. If the system changes to allow him to play more of a traditional role and he flourishes, there should be hell to pay for the last 2 years.
  15. well humans are in the audience now so that's different, I hope the thing goes forward even if it's a D+ exclusive I want to see who else they book (I kind of want them to book OK Go and Weezer for real after they both did videos with the Muppets)
  16. I think if the salary was disclosed this would clear a lot of those opinions up. If they are paying him top dollar - Vast majority of people on here would be unhappy. If they are paying him the same - Most folks would think it's an over pay because he's not in his prime. Some folks wouldn't mind it and would assume that his reduction of sacks is a result of the system. If he is taking a pay cut - Most folks would be happy with a few who think he should be outright cut. The ideal situation is him taking a bit of a pay cut and his play time reduced with the team bringing in fresh blood to rotate him.
  17. I'm guessing the Calgary crew is/was not tight with former players.
  18. I certainly agree that we need to do some big game hunting in FA.
  19. Pretty polarized opinions on WJ. It'll be interesting to see how he does.
  20. FWIW: After 50 games 2025/26 20-23-7 = 47pts πŸ’© 2024/25 33-14-3 = 69pts πŸ₯‡ 2023/24 31-14-5 = 67pts 2022/23 31-18-1 = 63pts 2018/19 32-16-2 = 66pts 2017/18 29-13-8 = 65pts 2016/17 22-24-4 = 48pts 2015/16 22-25-3 = 47pts πŸ’© 2014/15 26-16-8 = 60pts 2013/14 22–23–5 = 49pts 2011/12 22–22–6 = 50pts
  21. I hate the f****** shootout. Jets suck in them. Another point at least, but we really need 2 .
  22. So many non calls against the Panthers.
  23. Toews is playing great. Doesn’t lose a face off ever.
  24. Look who he played with on the worst DL in the CFL. Jake Effing Thomas. You can't judge Willie fairly when he had a linemate who couldn't hold his head up without using his hand to mount any kind of pass rush inside. And Thomas had one move, A bullrush. One. That's it. And that bull rush wasn't even any good as he was constantly being pushed around. To make it worse, Younger played Thomas with Willie & Vaughters in a ******* 3 man front. How stupid is that? Judge Jefferson should be judged with decent talent around him this season (if they actually sign anyone) & not with that shitbag tackle he was paired with.
