funny you mention this... I saw something on social media saying, "if you could add any Bomber player from any generation to today's team, who would it be?".... I'm immediately eliminating anyone prior to 2000 cuz the game was different (Walby and Cameron maybe being some of the exceptions)... but my first thought was prime Doug Brown... then I had an internal debate between prime Brown and prime Milt... both would absolutely make this team unbeatable

Perhaps, and that is the case with a lot of guys who go the Junior football route instead of USports and that certainly is no knock on any of them, as a university education isn't what it used to be.

The problem is the trade itself, players that can help right away in all probability have trade protection and will not come here. Problem number two is that even if you can get that one player to come here and play help the second line unfortunately the core group is just not good enough. Stay the course draft the best player available this team is going to have a tough time making the playoffs next year anyways.

Probably a little slower in a straight line but the kind of guy who has game speed because he's so technically sound that he doesn't waste any movement. Guy pays attention to every detail of his game, so hard to bring down.

Craig Button is practically begging the Jets to trade the #8 pick in order to get an 2nd line center. Said there isn't going to be anyone available at that spot who will be able to step in and help right away. He's probably not wrong but there's also no real consensus on what order guys are going to be picked so the Jets may want to wait and see how the other draft picks play out first.

Rigged = Chicago or New York winning. I’m open to trading pick 8 tho. I actually think there’s a strong possibility that since McKenna isn’t generational and a winger that a d man could go 1st overall. Honestly I’m not sure McKenna is nhl ready. Big jump from Usport to CFL. I'm not shitting on the kid, but the likelihood he is as good or better than any of our rookie NAT receivers seems pretty remote to me. I hope he develops into the talent that allows us to make him a territorial exemption but the likelihood he does so in this first rookie camp is pretty low. Hope I'm wrong though.
