man eli has struggled in pass pro at G, vibert has upside but i think he’s a year two step up away from being a guy you’re comfy with. That said, it’d be funny if vibert is on the ar because then eli is the 3rd best centre at best on our ar lol

What's going thru the mind of a guy like Jake? Does he recognize how much he's dropped off? Does he sense he's more a hinderance than a help? Does he allow himself to doubt that assessment because the coaches continue to have faith in him? Expecting him to ask to be sat in favour of someone else is obviously not in the psyche of a professional athlete...but do you think he ever feels a measure of guilt or shame knowing someone else could do a better job for the team? Having never been a pro football player I can't put myself in his shoes.

This is a fair point. Just let the fan bases do what they want to do. We call the Labor Day game the banjo bowl warm up... And they'll call it the Labor Day rematch. There are worse things to get all bent out of shape about.

CFL transactions page says Cobb goes to the PR and Matthew Peterson comes back on the AR. Apparently Eli and Vibert were splitting time at left guard on Wednesday so I guess if Wallace and Vanterpool are both out then probably Vibert comes on as the 6th and Eli starts at LG.

The Labour Day game has become a joke where they can barely sell enough tickets.... And our game is the standard bearer for live CFL football. Yes our team is not great this year, but when it comes to watching a CFL game live, there's Winnipeg and there's everyone else a long way back. Tl/Dr: Banjo Bowl Preview Game and Banjo Bowl.
