Ads are disabled on mobile. Google is so aggressive in how they want to display ads, if I let them do what they wanted, there would be interstitial ads between every post. Its not really an app. Web Apps are still the website, you can just add the site as if it was an app on your phone. It is purely a convenience thing, if you don't want to use the browser with all the other sites and tabs you have going on in there, you can have a dedicated window for it on your phone. If you prefer to use it though the browser, continue to do that. You don't go through an app store or anything like that. If your phone supports it, there should be a header when you visit on your phone asking if you want to "install" it, then the website will be an icon you can access directly on your phone.

Awesome - that's great news. I agree with others about the font size as well. This is a (pardon the pun) little thing, but the Dot/Star to the left of threads that, when you click it, takes you to the first new post, is so small that I can't quite get it. I've been just pinch-zooming in to make it bigger, which is fine, but if there's a way to increase the font of everything that'd be stellar. Otherwise, I'm always glad to upgrade to the newest and best versions of stuff....
