  7. We have no one brimming with potential ready to replace him, so we have to give him and every other QB an honest shot to become the starter.

  12. In the spirit of cost efficiency they can emblaze a permenant F*** on the stadium but will need to make a digital name stamp after that to keep the name up to date. To get back to football, will DD hold onto his title of biggest whiner for the upcoming title? Inquiring minds want to know.
  13. The **** Justin Trudeau Stadium has a nice ring to it.
  14. With that Premier''''IF it's anything like the pipeline promise she cooked up with the feds,it may be an eternity before Cal gets any new digs....OKAY if that's too political, I'll add that Dickie boy seems to be playing low key in fa this year and the stamps already resemble an also ran
  15. well my faith feels kind of restored in the franchise, but I might see it because Conan's involved
  16. And streaming killed the CD industry which is forcing muscians to go back to doing live shows.
  17. Duthie looks tired and weathered a bit. He’s still a solid host tho but yeah Bieksa and Pounder are definitely the straw that stirs the drink. Elliotte just I dunno, not a fan. Likely island visitor vibes.
  18. You know you (we all) prob could make this happen. That’s a suggestion they likely wouldn’t laugh at. Give me Woli. Give me local bands. Give me dogs and frisbees.
  19. McLean is the greatest to ever do it... Full stop. But Duthie is fun and still has a ton of energy. I really like David Amber, too, but Duthie still has more creative juices. I'm not always down with the "comic relief" version of Duthie, but when he can find a nice happy medium between being a serious broadcaster and the funny guy... It's a really good fit.
  20. Snowflakes going to melt with this burn. lol
  21. Well the sure fire way to get something like that built in Alberta is to tell the Premier the separatists need it. Will be built right away
  22. I think Duthie has lost a step but different strokes for different folks. My favorite is a tie between Pounder and Bieksa, both are outstanding in their own way.
  23. Duthie would be the perfect replacement for that hack McClean.
  24. Man I've been loving Duthie as the host with Friedge and Bieksa on the panel. It's like the best of both TSN/SNet worlds. And kind of a glimpse of what might have been (it's long rumoured that SNet tried to poach Duthie when they first got the hockey rights)... Anyhow, I've been really enjoying it...
  25. Tim Horton's would stink even if owned by Canadians.
  26. So which game is Woli doing the half time at this year?
  27. Not sure, he was spending some time during the winter in BC I think. He sure took to winnipeg though. He was in full practices for atleast 1/3 of the year. Idk what to think guess we will see if he makes it.
  28. If he does he will starve. He'd be a great guy around a camp fire but there are a ton of guys with a guitar that are far better than him busking for a meal. Live music went the way of the dodo bird a long time ago unless you are willing to play for peanuts or are an original songwriter good enough to get a recording contract (which Woogie is neither). When CDs came around it killed the live music industry. Bands get paid about 2/3 of what they were making in 1988. The going rate is about 100 bucks a guy per night. 150 on weekends.
  29. Rhymes would fit the need for sure. ZC could use a big guy to go get jump balls on the outside.
  30. Translation: Leafs suck.
  31. For sure cuz Canada gives a **** about the leafs the whole panel is a joke Friedman with his I need a cigarette cuz apparently he jizzed in his pants It’s just obnoxious garbage
  32. Goalie changed their profile photo
  33. Awesome to see woli sign the 1 day and retire contract. Love to see it. Dude was a solid receiver here then when he wasn’t here, not so much. Injuries caught up but a guy I consider to bleed blue and gold and a guy who truly embraced and loves this place we sometimes call a shithole. It’s dudes like him who makea me think there’s something special about the peg regardless of meth heads that exist everywhere. Does he live here still cuz dude truly embraced the peg and I think The peg embraced him Back. Prob won’t ever be truly healthy enough again but good for him to get a contract. Hopefully got a signing bonus cuz not convinced he makes it’s past camp healthy. Just seems to be bitten. Might be a good pickup for the Argos if he can stay healthy but I think not being healthy is why we let him go.
  34. Congrats and THANK YOU to the great Dom Wooganowski.... We're lucky to have had him during our era of greatness.
