  1. Today
  2. No surprise that the kids are better at it.
  3. J. Sheahan : 4 punts - 44 yds ave. - 51 yds long - 176 yds total J. Evans : 2 punts - 53.5 yds ave. - 56 yds long - 107 total It's obvious who won here
  4. That was the problem with Collaros early last season.
  5. He does, but he is a lot farther along at this point than brown was. His touch was much better than last year and he did get the 3 step and faster timing done well. he’s un phased by the speed of the pros, pass rush pressure and really any thing. Guys cold as ice. Has an electric arm too. Gonna be fun to watch him continue to develop. At this point I’d like to see strevy start the pre season game 2. Then play Zach in q2, strev as much of the 3rd as he needs then Wilson the rest.
  6. Like our 4 QBs. Chase should sit on the pr and get time down there until elgersma comes available any way.
  7. Demond Washington? Stoudamire? McDuffie?
  8. Did not know that. Good to know.
  9. I was at the game but reading now about the streaming issues, that's a joke. LRSD streams high school games on Youtube and its done by students at LRSD Arts and Tech.
  10. The one issue I have with Wilson is I think he holds onto the ball a little bit too long. He needs to be quicker with his reads. He’s prone to taking sacks, I thought Artopeous did a great job of getting rid of the ball quickly
  11. Wilson showed Great pocket presence in the Grey Cup.
  12. Ill take a paddling instead, ive been a bad boy
  13. I have no issues with it, I want to see shorter, quicker passes so that Zach doesn’t take a beating, and besides it’s pre season, it’s all about developing timing, and letting your receivers make a play. Regular season I’m sure we’ll see things open up a bit, but I think Zach was at his best last season when he was getting rid of the ball quick, I liked what I saw from the play calling today in terms of play calling and schemes.
  14. Funny thing about the complaining about kick returns as some kind of franchise curse is we have the most total return TD's and fewest return TD's scored on us among CFL teams in the past 10 CFL seasons.
  15. I think it's smart, helps them stand out when they do good things.
  16. The red shoes and gloves really bug me too for some reason.
  17. I’d be interested to know how many passes went more than 10 yards in the air. I didn’t love the East-West style offense we saw today.
  18. 1. Jake Thomas. I missed the start of the game due to the CFL website being trash but I'm sure J.T was as always the best player on the field. 2. Our punter/holder. 5 for 5 on field goal holds. When you hold that well does it really matter how well you punt? Ask coach O'Shea he'll tell ya. 3. Our kick return/coverage. Terrible, terrible, terrible. Who's the last dangerous returner that we as an organization found? Grant was released from another CFL team and so was Stokes. Unacceptable Happy Honker goes to the Riders...F*ck all of you, we hate you all. You suck. And even though this game had all the intensity of a book signing. It's always nice to beat them. Unhappy honker goes to those who didn't get the memo about the team name. We're the BLUE Bombers. Not the Stumps or Red Blacks. Wear the right coloured gear or get a bus ticket out of the city. The only players in my opinion who can wear whatever they want is Castillo, Brady, Zach, Willie and Big Stan. The rest don't even have the option. Go Blue! Let's beat them again next weekend.
  19. That was my takeaway as well. The first hit that Wilson took was his fault. He needs to process what’s happening faster. I thought the 4th stringer’s arm looked good. Looked to me like he had zip on the ball throwing to the sideline. He should have had a td pass but Wallis got jammed at the line and was a step behind. The ball was in the perfect spot if Wallis gets a better release.
  20. HH to the goal post for continuing to deny Lauther's FG attempts
  21. Now that makes lot more sense lol
  22. To me the biggest take from today was Strev. got lots of reps and actual QB reps.....he did run, he did get hit and he did make some throws. His knee appeared to hold-up and he made mostly smart, solid throws...I bet he would like the one RPO back....but overall I was really pleased to see him healthy and look like a real QB, not just a battering ram. With Zach out week "two" I was very pleased with how Strev. looked.
