  2. FWIW, Google AI says we used our expansion window in August when we added guys like Moore, Houston & Echols.
  3. Toews hurt in Jets loss last night. I got a bad feeling this season.
  4. Today
  5. So are we going to do anything with the expanded practice roster this year?
  6. Ahh yes, the blind trust that our coaches always make the best choices when building the roster. Carry on gents, I don't want to interrupt your cult meeting.
  7. Has anyone considered that maybe J.Jones just didn't look good in our scheme or maybe he didnt get it, or maybe he half arsed it all year. What he did in Toronto is not relevant if he wasn't that player when he came here. I'm fairly certain we signed him to be that guy but sometimes a change of scenery can be bad for a player. We don't know Jack **** about why he wasn't playing other than the usual assumptions around here. I do know he played here and did not look good granted it was only one game, but the fact remains.
  8. I didn’t say he was trash. Some of you are serious drama queens on here recently. Here’s reality. You and others are going on about a guy who played 1 game had zero tackles and 2 special teams tackles. Was hurt the last 6 weeks of last season. He makes no difference. He wasn’t even playing. It’s like can’t wait till mackonzo gets released so we can hear about how great he was 2 3 years ago now also. What a mistake tho letting a guy go who played in 1 game and made zero difference. Didn’t register a tackle even. 2 sp teams ones but zero actual defensive tackles. Christ. What’s next? Gonna lose your **** when Cobb is released Also? Cuz this is the equivalent really. A nothing depth piece who did nothing as a bomber. But Argos but 2 years ago.
  9. They haven’t made it out of round 1 with Kaprizov yet. They likely won’t.
  10. Dear hockey gods, Please ensure the Minnesota Wild have a miserable season, maybe a record of 0-82. If that is not doable, missing the playoffs by a point will suffice. Thank you. Amen.

  13. Well congratulations Shaftesbury you PO'd the fanbase myself included. I don't know if this is going to end up being Rex's last season but if not then it will be MY last season watching. There's a reason I had been saying I'm in more denial over Charlie being dead on Hudson and Rex than I am over Bobby being dead on 9-1-1 we saw Bobby die https://www.thestar.com/entertainment/television/hudson-rex-producers-confirm-they-decided-to-move-forward-without-star-john-reardon-after-cancer/article_7a2dcb88-d645-414e-b47b-4a59235145b2.html oh by the way here's the newspaper ad Cancer has no business anywhere not in humans and not in dogs.
  14. Cole Perfetti looks back at Manitoba Miracle Game 7 Goal ahead of the 2025-26 season
  15. Obviously not. Because Hall can coach a D just as well as Burke can. Both of them needed a certain type of player to succeed. A Hall D relies on pressure up front, a Burke leans heavily on DBs who can cover one on one.
  16. I have no idea how the tall foreheads unlearned this fact these past few years... Here's to hoping that moving forward we keep this up.
  17. That’s a real good recipe for victory
  18. Winning the turn over battle, and dominating the trenches, I remember the years when the Bombers would routinely do that. Who would have thought that correlates into wins!
  19. Max Pacioretty done
  20. The sad thing is, something you do need to focus on pure talent and ability, not just a good work ethic and liking a guy's back story.
  21. likewise, if we had maas/dinwiddie and their staff coaching us, we very likely would’ve won 4 gcs in a row and be leading the cfl standings again. I don’t see this team losing in 21 with burke or the stretch run 19 either.

  23. I don’t think mos gives consideration to talent evaluation. I think he looks at intangibles, and singular factors he likes at positions. Oh he’s got the best hips i’ve ever seen, oh he’s the smartest guy on the field, even the lauded anthem of he’s real nasty. From all these years of seeing our roster building, I really think mos believes talent equals out in the end no matter what. Or that they are all just as talented. As though being crafty as a wr counter balances having the size of a gnat and athleticism of matt sheridan. Like if he collects the right pile of intangibles no matter the attributes, we will succeed. I doubt he’d look at our ship years and say we had a massive talent advantage.
  24. Course, that’ll all be on zach and the secondary really. Brady will ball out no matter what. If zach can sustain the level of play he did against hamilton, I don’t think any D in the league can stop him. His blitz pick up and speed at getting the ball out into safe productive spots was extraordinary. That’s his two best game manager performances stuck between the injury. Maybe he’s caught that lightning in a bottle. Dare to dream. It would be awesome for him to carry us to a cup after some pretty terrible play off performances. Edmonton has been much improved but we should still handle them if we show up like we did vs hamilton. Ssk likely has the west division wrapped up by the game we play. Montreal in the last game could go either way. But it’s hard to see any of those teams bringing there best against us.
  25. this staff is mystified and enamored with a shiny bobble like kids with a new toy that seems awesome If a player they deemed was the best makes a one play or has a game where they put up numbers....signed sealed and final...entrenched full time even if they go game after gae...week aftr week of crap....Takes an injury to be removed...and even then...we tend to play injured guys...not hyperbole either...facts
  26. he got hurt....Didnt lose it...then they went Canadian in the spot, and hence no room for him and or his salary...wasnt a performance base thing I dont think they really even had a plan....just cling to and hope the past resurfaces...again......that ship has sailed on many aspects of the past, and I also truly don't think Osh is a good evaluator of talent...he definately values some things over talent...and those things don't translate on the field to the best players
