Oh well, glad Oliveria is working his way back, I’m curious to see if they let him sit knowing we have the bye and he can come back fully healthy in two weeks time.

I don’t think you can add another guy on D at expense of O. We basically have 3 backups on O. It’s more Vanterpool vs Cooley vs Mitchell for that spot. If they wanted to change/add on DL they’d be sitting Ayres or changing up LB’s.

So are we better going with Vanterpool or by adding a third DE like Pearson or a DT like Woods?

With Rigmaiden as GM I wouldn't expect the Lions to make a rash decision on Buck, pretty rare for a HC to exceed expectations in his first year. There wasn't much of a case for firing Campbell IMO, he had them performing at a high level, with only the Bombers being consistently better in the West the last few seasons.

I wonder if he is over his head even if he does that? I know he'll get enough rope to hang himself so to speak, but the Lions I'm sure were ecpecting much more from this team. I'm thinking there will definitely be a Buck watch all season. I gotta also say that even if Rourke had been playing the last few games this team could stil be 0-3 in them. Not good times in Vancouver Pro Sports. Can't see the Canucks much better either 🤮

Good article by Scott Billeck. I think its fair to say up to 33% dont want any help, they dont want to be moved and its people like that the city will have the biggest trouble dealing with.

Lambert has potential to be an Ehlers type but honestly. Hopefully he’s a bit bigger. Nik is small. But nik was also 2 good for the ahl. So yeah… there is no next Ehlers. Perfetti is the set up guy. He needs to be feeding a goal scorer, ahem boeser.

Ehlers was a top 10 draft pick. Anything is possible, but if he showed the same talent as Ehlers, size wouldn't have mattered.

Yup unfortunately he just isn’t getting it to the right spots for his playmakers to do their thing. Being a half a foot off makes a world of difference.

Yeah masoli has been hot garbage both times he's played. There are better options out there.

Next Ehlers?

Im not just sure how much impact he had on Streveler's week 1 performance if he wasn't really around. Hogan would deserve the credit in that case.
