  1. Past hour
  2. It really says something that nobody has bothered with the GDT today. Just win baby, **** all the other noise.
  3. What makes you think he is dumb??
  4. He may not be a great head coach but he isn't a complete moron like Mike Kelly. I wouldn't crap all over the guy and dismiss what he has done. Sometimes people have growing pains and make rookie mistakes and grow and learn as a coach. Other times they peak early and make decisions to start Jake Thomas and hire an OC with zero experience.....
  5. Yeah good thing this is a one time isolated incident...and we have never put guys on roster before who were clearly hurt and couldn't perform...or after a significant injury kept playing a player...or players....and thankfully we never did this to schoen before either...darn good thing Oh..wait a minute......we have....repeatedly Apparently the adults in our room lack a lot of...adult like traits
  6. You can partially tear a ligament, it doesn't have to be a full blown tear. He came back with a brace hoping to mitigate any further damage but clearly that didn't happen. He didn't re-injure himself on the 2 point convert either - it happened earlier in the game and he just gutted it out. The 2 point convert was just a visible display of how hurt he was.
  7. I tend to agree with most of the comments posted here. IMHO and only my opinion this is the weakest talent the Bombers have put on the field in a number of years. Our OL and DL are sub standard - old and some well past their best before dates. I believe our offensive coordinator is subpar and at times I really question management decisions. We have a number of players that should have been let go some time ago and yet still manage to get a starting slot. Not going to name names but it is very obvious. We just do not have the talent to come out on top against the Riders or Stamps at least IMHO.
  8. Davey Johnson, manager of '86 world champion Mets, Nationals, dies at 82
  9. This times a million. The player can make a choice but it’s not their *responsibility*, who was the adult in our room who takes on the *responsibility* of telling Schoen he has to shut it down?
  10. Today
  11. Player wants to play. No shock there but for his own good someone needed to be the adult in the room and tell him no, focus on next year and don't take unnecessary risks.
  12. Listen I get that you have your schtick and want to stick with it at all costs but what you are saying is consistently misleading. Players coming off a major injury and then having another major injury - either the same or different one - is unfortunately a somewhat frequent occurrence across all sports. You cannot possibly know what happened in this scenario. Perhaps you are right and he is the result of a terrible doctor decision. Or perhaps the medical team made the best decision possible and what happened was a result of bad luck. Perhaps Walters or Osh or Schoen or pick-your-villain went rogue and overruled them all. No one here has all the info needed.
  13. The way the story reads in the FP is that Schoen made a choice to rehab after the Calgary injury. Personally I would have shut him down after an ACL tear was confirmed, but that might just be 20/20 hindsight on my part.
  14. That's him!! Also I belive Elway played whole career without his left one? Hines ward too i believe
  15. Was A hell of a finish. Crum is the comeback kid.
  16. We also had Reggie Slack who had everything to be a starter- except good knees.
  17. Same here- I am absolutely shocked that Ottawa was able to rally and beat BC. Kudos to Crum- he played well enough to be our starter if he was still here.
  18. Robert Marve! I think he tore his ACL 3 times in college.
  19. I was watching the chiefs and chargers game and watching Herbert run for the first down with over 2:20 seconds on the clock to ice the game with kneel downs compared to what happened in this game under the 3 minute warning, there is absolutely no competition. That’s what I love about this league. There’s no wasted plays, a game doesn’t feel truly over until it’s over.
  20. Don't guess...not to be rude but u wrong....u can walk Heck we had a qb here yrs ago who had no acl The brace ...a don joy or similar acts as an exterior acl...u can play...many guys with partial will play with brace...especially lineman...but u will need surgery...won't heal on its own...mcl u can rehab without...not acl
  21. And in 20 years, he is going to be in chronic pain from arthritis.
  22. He learned under osh...so not shocking lol Learned from the best lol
  23. 2023...4 guys....and schoen that yr was shocked...said so...and said was totally unprepared... This isnt standard procedure...just here with our clown leading the circus If another team did this...we'd be mocking them to all oblivion You can tear it and walk...and if braced "technically " play...but not well and the instability will cause cartilage tears...Likely a crescent tear if u don't already have one...but you just putting player at extreme risk...and for what...like 50 percent of his ability? Shamefull all around...poor guy Wasn't fake news...soon as he needed a brace...was obvious....and i talked to a few guys and yeah he tore it again
  24. Gotta give props to Crum, though for doing his best to carry a sad team.
  25. Anytime you tear an acl...u need surgery...especially a just recently completed one you re-tore You can't play thru it...well you can if you wanna delay the actual surgery and be braced up and be a shell of yourself...and risk more damage Grossly mishandled and who knows if influenced to "try" or how it went down but was stupid and incompetent on many levels...in the end Osh made the decision to play him...an handcuff the roster with basically a gimp again...common theme here...and effectively screw him until 2027...if lucky....plain and simple If this the leadership we have...we need new leaders Doesn't happen anywhere...only where incompetence reigns Dude retore his acl...the recently repaired one from a hamstring graph I said as soon as he appeared in practice with a brace was red flag and he reinjured it...and if played would likely be done for yr sooner than later...but nobody really listened We screwed up big-time...and likely screwed his career
  26. I imagine he partially re-tore it, then blew it out. The fact that he tried to finish is still crazy, though.
