  1. Past hour
  2. Jake is a vet. That would be a significant change. And a starter. So is bridges. Those to me and you aren’t significant I agree but to Osh those are 2 starters. I dunno man. Pinnacle has become complacent also. Believing in people is nice. But wades job isn’t on field it’s sell outs atmosphere and off field related. The PAS is the premier destination in the cfl. That’s all wade there. On field is Kyle and Osh.
  3. I don't know much, but I know this: Wade Miller doesn't suffer underperformance. He knows how to fix **** and get **** done. If things are as ****** as some believe... He'll fix it.
  4. That's just not a good comparison. Yeah I keep telling myself the season is still young. Lots of football to be played yet. I wasn't hoping for significant changes honestly. Just 2. Less Jake. No Bridges.
  5. Would be nice to see changes but at 3 wins and 2 losses why anyone would expect any significant changes without injury related scenarios is beyond me. We all know how Osh rolls. Now if they get smoked in the big smoke, I’d expect to see changes but it’s prob not the changes we need. The only way guys like Jake Willie Kyrie Tony bridges coming out is injury. Really that’s the only time O’Shea makes a change. What if… it’s not just O’Shea but it’s also Kyle and Wade. We do however still have a winning record but 3 and 2 after 2 straight losses has got to be concerning to wade and Kyle. I would hope. But there’s the possibility that the mafia has become complacent. Maybe they just don’t really care anymore. 11 years could do that. Kyle and Osh and even wade have accomplished all they could here and it’s been a fun ride, we went from joke of the league to 5 straight cup appearances. I mean sell outs every game. Best atmosphere in the league. Noise levels rival nfl stadiums they say. Perhaps complacency is real. Like what more could they accomplish here? There is nowhere to go but down oh down.
  6. He’s unbelievably stubborn, there’s no denying that. I’m not necessarily lobbying for him to be let go, but someone, Walters or Miller, need to at least give him an ultimatum and see if he’s even capable of changing his ways.
  7. Said it before, will say it again... complacency is killing this team. Yeah what they're doing worked 3, 4, 5 years ago but that was an eon ago in football terms.
  8. It’s not O’Shea’s results that make me wish he was gone. It’s his process. Completely lost sight of what it takes to succeed in this league and he’s stuck hanging onto hope of the good old days.
  9. If we weren't so shell-shocked by the consecutive Calgary beatdowns I'm sure some of us would've picked Montreal. so yeah, Osh's fault.
  10. Today
  11. Was it a turn around? Not really...the issues at hand were not fixed...and in end was the demise again...and it's same thing going on again this yr...slack should be gone now Even easier than if u only have to.blow up a third of it...so why it not done?
  12. Bailey has been out of football for over a year and Woli is always hurt. 2019-2022 Bailey and Woli would be great to have back but that's not how time works. Dicky also went all in Maier McCheese for a few years. Easy to blow up the roster when you win 5 and 6 games the previous 2 years.
  13. Try the guys in house, try new blood, try scrap heaping other teams cuts. But do something rather than going "well maybe this week the old guys will have it"
  14. Dickenson went out and revamped the roster though... what's osh doing? Doubling down on Willie and Jake and collaros?
  15. Like it or not, last year's turnaround has bought them a lot of slack to do it their way again this year. They believe they can turn this things around just like they did last year. Remains to be seen if it'll happen. I was really feeling the "Maybe Osh time has run out" recently, but Calgary's turnaround under Dickie has me rethinking it a bit. I'm leery of change in coaches/management because too MUCH change was our downfall for decades....
  16. They got **** kicked in calgary and had a bye week to prepare for the same team in your own barn... and went out and got their asses handed to them again and still don't make changes. That to me says they are out of ideas. This is already not fine but nope gonna put the entire season at risk before they do anything.
  17. They should be cycling through potential replacements but instead they're standing pat. It's not players on the AR or PR either. Looking at the Bluesky account that tracks neg list moves, we are way more passive than most if not all other teams. Other teams are constantly adding/removing players but we seem to be content with what we have for the most part.
  18. Are there people really clamouring for replacement level players like Fox and Garbutt?? Vaughters and Adams aren't massive improvements... I want better players than what we have now... not slightly worse
  19. Baileu and WOLI would offer more on roster than Corcoran...Stearns or Magic Feet tho
  20. 100% -- the problem here though is that OSH's loyalty to these guys would have kept them playing. I love that O'Shea has turned this team around, but his shelf life is done here.
  21. Thing is....people will look at it as yeah we got to 5 cups and tink thats success....if failing at the the main ultimate goal is success....then I dunno Even ;ast yr...yeah but we started out 2-6...and turned it around...not really....didnt change a thing and we caught a bit of lightening in a bottle and rattled off some wins and glossed over what ailed us....poor roster...no depth and what depth we had not integrating them and when the big games came....well we were unprepared....had to play hurt guys to go with the inferior ones we figured were good enough....and we are headed right down that same path again at break neck speed...with a bunch of same guys who are even worse than last yr and if not for an act of god we would have had to play 3 gaes and win em all to get the cup...we couldnt do that with only 2 games....anuone thinking we could have ran the table is living in a state of delusion with how we went about the playoffs last yr...and if ZC gad got hurt in WSF or WF.....good luck with that We had openings at corner...safety....end....LB's...guard....receiver...and a couple spots we should have seriously looked to get better at...SAM...Center...DT/NOSE....Punter....BUT as per usual we just filled it with incumbents...retreads from elsewhere...and guys not food enough to make our roster from last yr....and still not good enough....we really didnt even consider change in a multitude of spots so really TC was just a exercise in nothing....nobody new....nobody younger and compound it with continued poor coaching...prep...and rostering....a vet laden team like ours should never come out with the duds we have ...so is it coaching...talent....attitude/dissention in ranks....likelu all 3 by my estimate...to me that spells danger and serious change needed....either ultimatum and or threats from above....or stumble thri this yr and do a purge next.....cause if we dont....be same ol same ol Sad part is this is Grey Cup yr and we should have went scorched earth with signings and attitude and cutting dead weight....but nope
  22. as is Baileys and Woli's
  23. The attendance will end up fine this year. 3 sellouts so far, Toronto game next week is close to selling out, Banjo Bowl should sell out so that's 5 at least. Likely a decent number of tickets sold for the Ottawa game. Hosting the Grey Cup so you get all that extra money. Next year however, that could be interesting depending on how the year plays out.
  24. Say what you will about Bighill and Alexander's declining play but their voices on that side of the ball are sorely missed.
  25. Dolce's done on Regent (I preferred C-Cups the business that was there before that....I think I don't remember)
