  1. Past hour
  2. You tell him to tell the other teams he only would play for the bombers or nfl. Wink wink nudge nudge.
  3. They are gonna get in and take out Colorado rd 1 in an upset. They are pretty hot right now. One of the best records since the break. If they get in, could be trouble for Colorado for sure.
  4. Today
  5. I'm keeping Manu. If we really covet Vaccaro that much AND he is not in the NFL, then we find a different way to make it happen. Stud NAT OL are becoming a rare commodity and I wouldn't trade any of them.
  6. Is Vaccaro a Demski kind of guy....after his 1st contract, he's likely to come home? I know he has a lot of ties to this community.
  7. well for one thing. It's quite literally can't exist around PAS. There just isn't the room, unless the university is going to get rid of all of it's parking. And I honestly wouldn't care 1 bit if it some how did happen. AND if anyone decides to live there, thinking there would be no issues around noise/traffic etc etc while that venue is being used....they're idiots and as long as those properties are making $$ no one is actually going to care.

  12. TSN is reporting that the NBA is going to vote in a few days to explore new franchises in Vegas and Seattle.
  13. The young woman I told you guys about at Xmas time who are family friends of ours succumbed to pancreatic cancer three days ago in Nanaimo, BC. She was 36 years old. She was a wife with a 2 year old son who now will grow up never knowing his mother. When Tyler played for the Rifles, they were his billet family for 2 years. Very, very sad.
  14. But what is happening that wasn't before is that these large stadiums are either part of or are being surrounded by residential areas. Which wasn't common before. There shoukld be a buffer zone around stadiums so that a high density residential development like this in Ottawa doesn't occur literally just feet away from TD Place Stadium. Would you be happy if this kind of development surrounded PAS?
  15. Pure hyperbole man. These things exist in most large cities
  16. Hmmm, it's no joke. People like to ***** & complain. Especially on social media. If 20,000 people move close to thje stadium then if it's not noise it'll be traffic. Or some other ****. Someone will be offended. Politicians will panic.
  17. Blow up all the stadiums, fold the league
  18. You just know the new neighbours will complain. It's inevitable. There's always one. Or in a big residential area, a hundred.
  19. Yesterday
  20. I'm not so sure of Vaccaro's immediate availability. He's a pretty well-known prospect in the States and he had a solid pro day. His measurables are all good for an interior guy, hands and arms big enough to move to C, plus he's off the charts with intangibles and his film is pretty solid especially anyone running heavy zone/RPO as their base. So like Philly, Baltimore, Chicago, Green Bay, Niners, Indy. NFL teams will sit on UDFA for a few years to develop them.
  21. The sound doesn't really escape the current stadium. You basically can't even hear the sound from inside the stadium from the intersection of Bison Drive and Chancellor Matheson. You hear a low muffled sound and the Bomber games are cranked to about 15 on in-stadium sound. Like when one of the hosts or PA announcer is talking it's very loud.
  22. Well, you have a canadian who may shake loose from the NFL with 3 or 4 years experiences vs a guy who may want to do what Manu did & go to the NFL. If Manu becomes available what a prize catch he'd be. In his late 20's with 8-10 years left to play. I'd keep Manu.
  23. Attendance 14082 3 Stars: ๐Ÿฅ‡24 ๐Ÿฅˆ36 ๐Ÿฅ‰1
  24. try to retain extra pick value at the top of this draft. itโ€™s probably gonna be rather thin for our needs. I love manu and his upside, but vaccaro has similar upside with less long term flight risk. Manu could start for two years and be gone again to the nfl, would probably be a big fa flight risk. yeah, franchise anchor inside maybe c maybe g. Strong chance to be here and stay up here. Heโ€™s basically the best balance of upside, and pick security we see. iโ€™d do that if thatโ€™s what it took.
  25. Trade our 4th overall + the extra pick for the 1st overall.
  26. Jets started out well... But St. Louis is slowly taking over the game. And for whatever reason the slot is wide open for St Louis. Jets are lucky that this isn't 5-2
  27. It's 5 on 5 probably using American rules.
  28. Yeah their ass is out a mile on that take.....DB's are the least of worries....As for Vaccaro, there's always a priority for canuck o linemen....he'll go early ...Only way we would see him is if we could cook up a deal and swap pics ...We do have that extra at the end of the second round that we could put in play....We always seem to hit it out of the park with home town guys.... Vaccaro would be a nice fit
