  1. Past hour
  2. Kick coverage and the ol were both respectable. Clercius was good. That might be it for positives. The first pick six I’ll give the Stamps player credit for a good play. The second one was inexcusable from Collaros. That ball needed to be out right away or not at all. He has to know better. No pressure from the des. Willie got chipped by the rb a lot, but still. Adam’s needs to play more and we need another de on the roster. No idea if the pr guys are any good, but it’s time to find out.
  3. I think it’s going to be a loooooooong time if ever before a Canadian team wins a Stanley Cup again. Hope I’m wrong but the business plan and tax advantages are making it seem like the mid 90’s again for teams north of the border.
  4. Yep they were totally prepared. They had two weeks and got us at home, we get to return the favour. So we’ll see what kind of adjustments we’ll make in two weeks. On the TSN broadcast they were talking about the last time we got blown out by a team in the regular season and it was against B.C I believe they next time we played them we lay that 50 point beating on them. So curious to see how we respond.
  5. "Well you know, the effort was there. I think the guys know what is expected and how to rebound after a performance like that. Coaching staff too. We'll look at the film and move on to next week." There, I just saved you from having to listen to the show after someone asked every single question that been proposed on here.
  6. It was a rough game. But acting like A) this doesn't happen every season and b) they need to blow up the entire roster, is a bit much. People need to take a step back from the ledge. It was 1 game in week 5. If this becomes a pattern and the same thing is going on in week 12 then sure, but don't make me quote A rodgers. R-E-L-A-X
  7. Dickey beat the brakes off MOS last night. Completely outcoached and out schemed at essentially every level.
  8. Beg _Pokey to come back.
  9. The 23 points they scored without the pick 6's was enough to beat us last night.
  10. It was a good old-fashioned beat down from start to finish. The Stamps went ahead 8-0 early, and we never got within a TD after that. They attacked in the first half then kept everything in front of them in the second half to make sure that we didn't get a deep shot TD. They were better in every phase of the game last night. If we do it to them in the next game, then we can put it down to 'just a bad game'. If not, then they just showed the league how to beat us.
  11. I couldnt watch the game due a family emergency ,but the hilites showed me all i needed. That D line is an embarrassment. Yet ,so easily fixed....... And WTF wasnt ZC pulled ? Oh yeah ,hes the "best" QB to ever play the game......
  12. Run blocking to. Not much else. Like most here, gave up on it long ago. Mos always has some slippery none answer for any tough question.
  13. Yup. D line has a whole are pretty useless, should be airlifting defensive tackles in cuz Jake ain’t it. Korny ain’t it although he’s not terrible when given the odd chance, Adams is 1 man. Willie does nothing. Vaughters hasn’t done much. Lawson seems to be a tad over rated but our best Canadian d line. they need to sit Willie a game and cut Vaughters. Tell Jake it’s time. It’s Vader time. Err retirement time. Adams and Lawson are the only 2 worth keeping at this point. If woods isn’t really hurt, him, Adams Lawson person Bailey is a start. Bring in a couple guys. Linebackers. Try Ayers at Wilson spot. Jon Jones in the middle. Kramdi for ratio (it’s a thing) purpose. Holm Nichols Bonds and I’d look at bridges spot also. And I like Parker but maybe Allen is the better safety option.
  14. Inexcusable lack of focus and preparation. Every coach and every player should be embarrassed. When veteran guys like Patty Neufeld are completely turned around and lost on a play it tells you all you need to know about how prepared this team was. The country club atmosphere that seems to have developed after a great start needs to be nipped in the bud right now. It was horrible execution by every position group all evening and that simply will lose you any game you play against any opponent. I don't know how this team continually seems to look so flat prior to bye weeks. Time for the coaches and locker room leaders to change that narrative.
  15. Today
  16. The defense isn't going to have to do much in the second half if they give up 22 points in the first half and the offense can't move the ball. The PxP has Vernon Adams completing 4 short passes / 5 in the second half, but when you are up by 20 why would you push the defense. Point differential is unlikely to come into effect, keep everything nice and easy... Big Play VA is notorious for working both ways. This is why you can't stat sheet watch.... Bombers put up 400 yards of net offense, but that was mostly empty calories where they couldn't finish drives or were playing against a soft Calgary defense that was rushing 3 and was keeping everything ahead of them... 55 pass attempts for only 316 yards is nuts. They only gave up 300 yards of net offense... but the Stamps had a 20 point lead starting at the halfway point of the 2nd quarter and they adjusted their offense accordingly.
  17. My two cents Firstly Cal. wanted it more, they hit harder, ran faster and made the tough plays.....we whiffed, seemed sluggish and made mistakes.... Zach had a poor game, but our offence wasn't as bad as it seemed IMO, the line did decent and Brady was doing well...we just got down so quick we went to well....I'm not sure what game plan we went to, but pre-game Flo said there goal was to make us sit back and throw.....and well the executed exactly that...yet some how it feels like we almost let them Defence...ouch, Vaj could smoke a cigar and casually sip an old fashion before he needed to throw the ball....and on the odd play he couldn't he simple moved a little, did a roll and then resumed sipping his drink while looking for receiver. VAJ can be a very good QB, but I think any QB, Crum, Dolegala, Masoli, Arbuckle, hell Alex Moran from BMS could have beaten us last night...... Offence has some goat horns no doubt but defence definitely has the bigger goat horns in this one IMO
  18. Jefferson is basically useless at this point outside of the of the knockdowns. I expect the gap between career knockdowns and sacks to keep growing until he retires. Hes gonna to retire as the only player with 100 knockdowns and 75 sacks.
  19. Disagree... watch it over and over and learn from the mistakes. This wasn't an isolated incident, this highlighted some problems that have been creeping in for a while
  20. Kick coverage was pretty good.
  21. Yes it wasn't good, but they shouldn't be blamed for the 14 points from the two, pick 6s.
  22. Tonight's game summary:
  23. Bighill plus bye week made Calgary look like a well prepared team. Winnipeg was also just really not in the right headspace. Lots of opportunity to win that game. Interceptions. Missed open receivers and when we did put the ball on the money we had sun in our eyes…. glad we have a bye week and justification to make some changes. I’m willing to give Sterns some credit too he’s finally playing to his potential. Sask sterns minus the drops and fumbles is a decent little receiver. Hope that continues. Thought our kick cover teams were pretty good. Let’s not act like Schoen got paid in the same ballpark as Lawler. Hoping we get Wilson back soon.
  24. -Stamps coming off a bye -Stamps coming off a really bad game -VAJ is better then some people think -Bombers going into a bye -Bombers complacent thinking they're better than they are Flush it and move on. If they stink out #FortHew in a couple weeks, with little to no pushback, then I'll start to worry..
  25. before breaks they always seem to play crappy. It's really bizarre. It's been that way pretty consistently for a few years now.
  26. I stopped listening to the coach's show a long time ago .. basically a bunch of non-answers and folks rambling / asking nonsensical questions. There's nothing of value that comes out of it. The defense (objectively) wasn't good last night. Poor tackling. Poor communication. Poor execution all around. It doesn't help that Zach threw two touchdown for the other team but the defence did *nothing* to help the cause last night.
  27. Fans don't like to look at those things. Easier to blame the defense.
