It's almost never too late in CFL. Look at the Stamps, this year compared to last year.

c'mon man. in 2019 at this point in the season we were still starting that maple maga guy at safety. weird **** happens in the CFL playoffs.

I'm looking forward to the next two weekends. (I'd be satisfied with a split.) I think that our secondary is finally coming around. Due to injuries and outright poor play by the DBs, the Bombers' braintrust was forced to make changes. I think that Vaval and Allen are "keepers" and Houston, perceived baggage or not, will help solidify things. As for the D-line, I cringe every time I see two Canadians plugging up the middle. I'm hoping that the coaches realize that one Canuck, if they have to, is enough. The receiving core is a sore point. Pray for Schoen to return; Demski to be able to handle more pounding; and Mitchell to wake up?

With neither being under contract after this season, it could be more a case of one of them walking away rather than being let go.

Very Well Said - I agr1ee 100% - The Bombers have too many issues that need fixing and I doubt much will get fixed this year.

When we had beat them earlier this year I had said that they were playing really hard with lots of intensity. With more talent that team will be really good.

MOS and KW have eight straight 10+ win seasons (with a shot at a 9th), 6 straight WF trips, 5 straight Grey Cup berths with two Grey Cup wins. The team has sold out the first 6 home games with the 7th getting close. Yeah, we're frustrated with both of them but it would be a total surprise if either is let go.

If this team can get Demski, Scheon, Sterns, and Parker back on the field at the same time and still can’t get it done then I’d worry. When they replenish the roster with the projected starters I think they’ll do just fine 👍🏻 Adding Houston who I believe the team replaced with Bonds(?), and getting Pokey Wilson back would make them a dangerous team IMO 👍🏻

Can't not be a consideration for sure...especially if we lose out early in playoffs...or miss completely And injuries can't be the excuse...many teams have sustained a lot of injuries...our slide started in 2023...and was caused by 2022 poor thinking

So...I guess there are literally dozens of organizations that should never be worked for Many organizations that did it and have ended uo being very successful after the fact. Not saying this yr...really how we are configured we basically gotta deal with cause there no quick fix really...but there are some pieces in house not necessarily being utilized to their best use Next yr tho.. over the winter...total different story tho if we have less success than last yr...that can't be out of the question

As long as Sask stays healthy, they are who they are... They're deserving of their record. The "after Labour Day" thing, recently, has been more about them getting injured. Harris goes down, Yoshi goes down... Various other starters. But if they're healthy, it's a good team everywhere but at PK.... We have every right to expect losses upcoming until we see the Bombers start to fix some problems (secondary, DL push, receiving corps...)

Last week we barely beat the redblacks on a last second FG that shouldn't have happened if they simply Run, Run, Punt on their last 3 plays. This week the Elks beat the redblacks by 10 & didn't need any stupid coaching to do it. Draw your own conclusions.

How many years is it since Sask has won a game after Labour Day? 2 or 3? What was there record at this time last year? What is different that has everyone so sure they willl be for real through the fall? CGY looks tough but haven’t really faced any adversity from injuries yet, we have as good a chance as anyone in getting to the game this year.

How is it too late? It’s not even Labour Day yet for Christsake. They are in position for a playoff spot. The summers hottest teams aren’t always the ones doing well in the playoffs.

Why is everyone assuming Schoen won’t be playing on LD. According to Hodge and the FP, he is expected to play.

Even healthy post injury, can't remotely expect him to be the same guy.

If Demski and/or Sterns will not be available, our best option is to bring back Myron Mitchell. He knows the system.

I've seen this all before. Kyle Walters with the worst case of a GM tearing a team apart since Earl Lunsford crushed the 1972 Western Conference Champion Blue Bombers to punish Mack Herron & Jim Thorpe for simple weed possession charges by releasing them. Both were fined with no criminal records. A deep threat one thousand yard plus receiver & the league's leading rusher from thje previous year both gone in 1973 with the snap of his fingers. Over 2500 yards of offense vanished. The CFL's leading passer Don Jonas struggled the following season because the receiving core became a bunch of slugs. It took years for the Bomber organization to recover. Fast forward ahead half a century... with the Grey Cup being played here this season, we still don't know the team's motives as to why this off season was the way it was. Did Miller direct Walters to not spend any money on players?

Which is why if we miss the playoffs or fall in the standings it's time for a change after 12 seasons. Walters has gone stale. You make a change in the off season. We still have 8 games to play.
