If it’s even being considered what’s the plan if no Helle? Is our goalie pipeline good enough? Take from Peter to pay Paul is what I would be concerned about if we put Helle on the market just looking at it purely from a hockey talent point of view.

Getting to the QB would be a bonus but really anyone that can disrupt and eat up roll outs and escape lanes for the QB would be welcome...consistently of course. Getting that OT to back pedal would let Ceresna and Willie eat. Getting that true edge pass rush we haven't had since Jeffcoat would be huge. Wearing down the opposing LT is also something we have failed to consistently do and that pays huge dividends when we do roll in an undersized but quick DE

Yep. And I am sure that with the rookie camp, we will shuffle some new guys in for our camp, and then again when NFL cuts happen. A bookend is something you should be able to find a pretty good rookie at as well. Not someone who is gonna put up 10+ sacks with elite speed, but a poor man's Jeffcoat who is in the 260 range and maybe can slide inside from some 3t reps, and 4i in the 30 front. We don't need the sack master (though it would be nice), we need a high-floor guy who can bullrush a large majority of his snaps and keep the T honest, while taking advantage of the fact he will never see a double team playing alongside New jake, wj, and lawson. We have 3 guys specifically on the NL in: Kris Trinidad, Demone Harris, and Xavier Carlton. All 6'4-6'6 and 270-275lbs range. Trinidad had a good 4-year starter career at Old Dominion with a great motor and phenomenal testing numbers (4.8 40, 25 reps, 9'7 broad, 7.45 3 cone, 4.31 SS, 30" vert, 80" wingspan). Despite that, all he got was a rookie camp invite with the bills. Carelton had a cup of coffee in the NFL and has been in the UFL this year. He doesn't have the elite athleticism like Trinidad, and despite being raw he is an extremely talented bull of a DL who wins battles and makes plays. 6 games into the UFL season he has 30 tackles, 4TFL, 1 sack, 2 PKDs, 13 pressures, 5 hits, and 6 hurries. Thats with 12 players have 100 or more pass rush attempts on his team. 131 run D snaps and he only has 1 missed tackle, the lowest rate on his team, while being the highest rated run stopping dl. Harris spent a good chunk of time in the NFL, and has been in the UFL this season. Hes doing pretty well, but at age 30 chances of him getting an NFL look out of the UFL are kind of slim. The UFL season is over at the end of this month. He has 3 sacks, and a staggering volume of pressure/hit/hurries and the 2nd highest win rate for pass rushers on his team. On top of that we have a few pretty mature true bookend types on the NL. aannnd hes cut. lol JK We sure have brought in a bunch of size again at DB. Saw the same thing last year. Took a while for the young guys to work in, but they made an impact for us by mid season.

Collaros worst seasons have higher QBR and higher YPA than someone like Khari Jones best years. If you graft Khari Jones into this era hard to know how that would look. Lot more on QB plate. Either way need to protect them. And that's been a big problem for us of late.

Hunt wasn’t here long but man that dude made an impact. Would have loved to have him opposite Willie or even over Willie for sure. Dude was another level. Imagine both together in their primes. Unstoppable. With Brown and Ceresna. Just unstoppable

Gimme 3 per side if we could just drop em in with how we run our defence and how the offence may be morphing Bolden...dude didnt really have a position per say...He just was tasked with covering a teams best...T.Jones could be that Jack..off the edge pure rush end...MLB...run stiffling WIL and Greg Battle...dude could play all 3 spots even in todays game...and likely safety too Milt is a given.....A prime time Sellers for what we are looking to do now, plus could be a feature back if needed.....and I sure Blink would find a nice role That be my 6 Yeah....Hunt or the Animal Ron Warner pre NFL Imagine Warner...Prime WJ and Hunt all rotating along the line...with Ty Jones just lurking around....damn

I would take all or any of those trade offs with a big smile on my face. I would even take prime WIllie in a tie with prime Hunt.

Milt would likely be most impactful but Brown or Bolden might make us better overall. Prime Doug Brown maybe even Prime Philip Hunt would prob make us better overall tho. I think with Brady on O, we are ok, we prob don’t need that superstar receiver, wouldn’t hurt but the D guys would just make us harder to play against. Honestly prime bighill over tony jones any day. Makes us better. How bout this. Prime Doug over Lawson Prime Bighill over Jones Prime milt over white Prime Bolden over either CB since fantasy talk the other corner could be Alford. Prime hunt opposite Willie maybe even Jeffcoat but hunt was the man beast Pick 1 ok fine my heart says milt cuz he would get a cup ring but my head says hunt bolden or bighill would make us better overall, lets say Big cuz he’s miles better than Jones and well ceresna plus Lawson is ok I think but don’t have that hunt end tho or bolden corner. Bighill over Jones tho I think makes us better

Agreed, and there are a couple real intriguing options that hopefully play up to their promise/pedigree.

You could trade the pick to Seattle for a Shane wright or Beniers. Maybe Anaheim for a mctavish. There’s several who fit the category actually. Guys who are young and have no trade protection who could use a change of scenery. Nemec and Mercer in New Jersey. Jersey would be my Helle trade destination tho. Trade our pick for that young 2 C as mentioned above then move Helle for Nemec and nj 1st. Guys on 1st or 2nd contracts don’t normally got trade protection. And not everyone has trade protection either. I’m not trading pick 8 for a dude with a year or 2 left. I’m trading it for a younger guy prob on his 2nd contract. Dudes either signed long term or short but has many rfa years left. You don’t trade 8 for a 30 year old. 22 to 25 ideally age range I’d say.

Tom Clements arguably but certainly not definitively. If we are going to talk past Bomber that would make the biggest impact, it's gotta be Milt.

Which Bomber QB do you think fits this era better than Collaros? If we could pass protect maybe Brock. Really no one else.

Roster is very deep, lots of talent with a mix of youth and experience. Its really just the 2nd DE spot that we need some one to step up and take.

Always a tremendous luxury to have. Brown would be massive. I think the only larger upgrade would by tyrone jones. With our pass rush deficiency, adding a prime Tyrone would be unreal. At this rate IDK if I will live long enough to see some one put up around 100 sacks in a career here. Ok, actually, prime qb would be the biggest ugprade for winning.
