  1. Past hour
  2. Person has been invisible for two months now. I think we would have been ok with someone else.
  3. One of the best rosters they’ve had all season. Feeling a little more optimistic.
  4. Today
  5. Probably a out as good as they can do for the roster now. Just make sure woods actually plays plz
  6. Yes, that's another oddity that they showed him moved to PR but in fact he's still on the AR this week. I don't have an issue with him still on the AR but why was that transaction made earlier? Maybe they thought either Griffin or Parker was still in a GTD?
  7. I’m actually OK with Lawson in there. Upgrades or at least good players that can stay on the field are needed there next season 👍🏻
  8. Person stays on. Woods added over Korn is nice but Thomas still starting is just stupid.
  9. Woods over Korny is a HUGE upgrade Too bad Parker got hurt. Guy can't catch a break.
  10. Only two Nat DT's. Has anyone checked to see if O'Shea is okay?
  11. Everyone in here talking about old-time football. WTF was going on in 1975. From the game notes for tomrorow Winning With 3 Completions: The Blue Bombers won last week despite having just 3 completed passes on 8 attempts for 54 yards and a 9.4 Rating. The last club to win a game with 3 or fewer completed passes came on September 24, 1975. That day Winnipeg was again involved when they were just 2-of-11 for 62 yards and yet defeated Hamilton 34-32. With Chuck Ealey at QB, Winnipeg rushed 54 times for 349 yards that day. Of Note: Hamilton went 3-for-12 in a 1974 game and won 11-10 over Ottawa. 8 Pass Attempts: Last week Winnipeg attempted just 8 passes for 54 yards and a 9.4 Rating. The last time that ANY CFL club tried as few as 8 pass attempts was by Winnipeg themselves on August 26, 1975 vs Calgary. That day behind QB Chuck Ealey they tried 8 passes completing 4 for 99 yards in a 25-22 win. That day they ran the ball 39 times for 237 yards.
  12. RIP Marble Slab at Kildonan Crossing (I think I may have known for a year that it was screwed because the freezers were empty and I guess the final nail in the coffin came when Freddie's opened)
  13. 2002-Khari throwing to Milt, Bruce and Gordon with a Roberts/Sellers RB tandem. So much fun to watch.
  14. 100 percent...totally forgot about him....and yeah u didnt cut it...you were outta town in short order
  15. That would be perfect.
  16. Ray Jauch was cut throat. He never hesitated to cut a veteran if he felt he could bring in somebody better. I remember when he traded popular Winnipeggers Gord Patterson & Leo Ezerins to Hamilton in 1980. The fans were not happy.
  17. Richie absolutely kept too many vets long term. But the talent that those teams had on offense...we can only dream about that now.
  18. Huntington's disease successfully treated for first time Nobel prize territory.
  19. over 150 yards last 2 games...for a guy who cant run sure gets decent yards since he took off brace and is getting his full health back....imagine eh? dont have to....you just need a playbook with roll outs...sprints,,,multiple motions...varied qb design runs...not just draws and runs up the gut....that is in it in general........and then use those plays accordingly....aka...have a complete full pro-ready playbook. hate to nitpick you but what are u yammering on about...he's ran for 72...and 82 yards last 2 starts....combined 152... he's ran for 260...ZC for 105.....also...remove all the qb sneaks from Strev's runs as well then and then do your recompute....we get it....you dont like him....move on...but if you wanna slag a guy...get your stats and metric right and also factor in situational plays
  20. That what puts guys like Grant...Riley...Ritchie and Murphy apart....put best out there regardless of passport or position...just made it work....and a guy like Murphy would turf your ass day game too if you did stupid stuff....or just plain sucked Every one those coaches....you earned the spot, but also had to maintain it.....Ritchie in his later yrs had a fondness for some his vets, but at the least some them still could play....
  21. That one run was 36 yards. His other 10 runs that game combined was 36 yards. he can’t run anymore. Zach actually has the better rushing average this year. By double almost.
