  1. Past hour
  2. You can put it on Osh if you like, but the conversation is about NAT players. Who are the stud NATs we haven't been playing?
  3. I think that our recruitment in general has been very poor over the past several years. I think the only period of time we saw good recruitment with this regime was when Rigmaiden was here. Other than that not a whole lot. Look at our depth. It's pathetic.
  4. Besides Shoen and to a lesser extent Pokey, the track record of scouting American receivers by this regime is by far the worst in the league. It really needs to improve this year.
  5. IDK. He's only played in 60 games and not all of them as a starter. The Elks have not been a good team until the last half of 2025 and Faj was the starter. For back up money and not having to trade a significant asset for him, he's a maybe. Calvillo wasn't a very good QB until he became the back up for T. Ham then he developed. It does take a good team to surround a QB so it's not all on him. It wasn't until AC's 6th season before he threw for more TD's than int's. Hamilton essentially let him leave Hamilton after 3 seasons of marginal success.
  6. Kenny would help no doubt, but they really need to bring in someone who can light it up through scouting. Gotta have at least a couple of high level players on rookie contracts.
  7. Bring back Kenny.....one of the top receivers in this league.....I don't know if he was on a one year IF he was bring him back...I also hope we can talk Elgersma to show up here....The future of the qb situation is dire and we need to make some serious plans ......scrap the return of Lawler ....guess he signed for 2 years
  8. THIS Reminds me of the dark days of our receiving corps when we were pretending Rory Kohlert was a legit receiver. Back then the Bombers had an excuse,....years of poor GMing. Hmmmm.....
  9. Next time, try GHB. Faster and more reliable.
  10. I hope we upgrade our National receivers enough so we can drop Rudy, I mean Corcoran
  11. Today
  12. Get that boy a pair of football cleats!
  13. He was a 2024 draft pick so he should have 1 year left on his rookie deal.
  14. I don't know if Ajou Ajou is a FA this year or not. But he would look real good in Bue and Gold. Really like his style of play and I think with a bit more experience can turn into a really good slot rec.
  15. And Osh refuses to use the designated import on the roster for reasons I cannot understand.
  16. We routinely played more Canadians than required so does it matter if we don't use the advantage?

  18. I brought my four year old son to the activities around U of W and he was instantly turned in to a football fan. I found very well put together and enjoyable for the both of us. That type of stuff is just a instant CFL fan generator. My son insisted on watching the Grey Cup and now wants to play football around the house, go to games and watch more on TV. What a win for the team/league. It was my first time attending Grey Cup festivities and it really highlighted how important the game and its history are to Canadians and Canada as a nation. It was really cool seeing the community of fans representing all the different areas of Canada coming together for the love of the game. Previously, I could never have seen myself attending a Grey Cup unless to Bombers were in it, but the whole atmosphere of the week has changed my mind. I haven't had season tickets for some years, but I was considering getting them again once my son was old enough to appreciate the games. Unfortunately, I am incredibly disappointed with the direction the CFL is going with the rule changes, so it makes the decision not to get tickets next year a lot easier.
  19. Don’t we have Peterson under contract for next year already? Probably at a very cap friendly rate too, I expect. If Brady wants too much is there any chance we could roll with him as our #1? It lets us keep the ratio at that position and we could use the extra money to shore up more pressing weaknesses. In fact a backfield of Peterson and MCI doesn’t sound too bad at all.
  20. Thing is signing Brady allows us an import elesewhere , hopefully on the oline. A decent cdn lineman would cost 220 plus so the savings isnt as much as youd think. So Id really go in on Brady
  21. For sure. There were a few potential turning point plays that went the Rider's way. Dropped pick 6, phantom PI on 3rd down, Als fumble on the goal line (looked like it was his own RB that clipped the ball too). Anyone of those going the other way and who knows how the game turns out.
  22. I doubt Alexander would have played if it was a regular game. Injured QB loses Grey Cup sounds sadly familiar. Still kept them in the game until the fumble. Gotta say, I was hoping for a TD and a 2 pointer to force OT. Congrats to the Riders. Had a great season and won another cup. It's gonna be a long off season.
  23. Hard to get that picture out of my mind.
  24. I am a big believer in momentum and the role it plays within a game... Montreal hangs onto that pick 6 early and gets the early touchdown as well I see the game going entirely differently. Instead sask answers the one td and never gives up momentum again... until late when the als do start to come back but that goal line fumble just killed it. Can not be so careless with the ball in that situation.
  25. Hypothetical, if we lose Brady but sign one of Mills, Butler or Bell and save about 90-100k, how do you feel?
  26. Our receiving corps was as weak an any of the crap groups I can remember over the past 40 years. It really can't be overstated how much help we need there. With all due respect to Nic Demski he should not be a 1 receiver. We need to slap the guys who recruit and/or sign them.
