  1. Past hour
  2. A kicker does not belong on a list of most outstanding Canadians.
  3. Ferguson decided to throw Lirim on there, knowing he doesn't have a legit shot at MOC. If it was a true top 5 list, I'm sure BO would have been there (or should have been). Lirim (and a few other guys) should have been put in an honorable mention category, IMO.
  4. Like they’ve seen enough of Strev? 🙃 I like the percentages you’ve added. Gives me a Dumb and Dumber “so you’re saying there’s a chance feel” 😉
  5. 1 - 90% of this happening, I don't see how they can bring the guy back for a 2nd season in a row. 2 - 50% of this happening. I'd really like to see Wilson be given some real game time to see what we have in him. Throwing him 4 minutes left in a game wont' cut it. Having him play the 3rd quarter last week would of been the smart thing to do. 3 - I'd imagine this year they almost have to sign a few guys. I'm assuming Bryant will retire and they'll have to fill some holes. It would be extremely disappointing if they don't add at least 3 starters. 4 - New GM 25% chance.... new HC I'd say 15% chance. O'Shea has a massive leash. It is disappointing though that for this and last season they almost seem paralyzed at the idea of changes. During our prime years with these guys they had the ability to find multiple guys (mainly on D) who could step in and play right away. Nowdays it feels like they have nothing in the cupboards. No "potential" on the bench who just needs a few more weeks of practice to catch up. Absolutely nothing. 5 - The game day experience continues to be top tier and I don't imagine much of a reduction of fan support at the home games. 6 - I'd say 66% chance of happening... if they make zero changes next season then 2027 will be clean house time.
  6. https://www.cfl.ca/2025/09/17/most-outstanding-canadian-watch-who-are-the-top-contenders/ Demski at number 2 but can't believe Oliveira isn't on the list. Reigning MOP (should be back to back if we are being honest), and despite missing almost 3 entire games is 3rd in the league in Yards from Scrimmage, and the pace he is on will likely take the lead in the next couple games... even accounting for the game where he played only 1 drive he is pretty much on a 2K yards from scrimmage pace.
  7. Oh, I am pretty certain that the team has seen enough- the tall foreheads though... probably not.
  8. Demski should be the front runner for league MOC.... He's been incredible.
  9. Speaking of changes … if things unfold as they seem to be this season, what things are going to be different in 2026? 1. New OC (seen enough of Hogan although I’m afraid the team hasn’t). 2. New backup QB, possibly Elgersma, only because Zach’s contract runs out after 2026). 3.FA signings on the O and D line? (Haven’t even seen who’s available, but there has to be some upgrades that could improve both lines) 4. New GM? Head coach? (Extreme doubt for these) 5. Fan support wanes a bit and puts some pressure on management (hard to say but it makes sense, especially if we don’t even make the playoffs in a home Grey Cup year) 6. Status Quo on everything (😕)
  10. We have nice uniforms? Yup ND is the man. BO is the man. I’m a huge Holm fan, love the way he carries himself, so needed with our current situation. Nice to see Dancing Gabe out there doing his thing. We still remain the gold standard in how to support our BB’s. AND the argos and riders continue to smell real bad so that’s encouraging yet foul to the nose. uck.
  11. I would also suggest to the people finding the negativity unbearable, that they are more than welcome to provide some positive topics to discuss. I'll start - can we celebrate Nic Demski for a minute? He seems to be getting better with age & is on pace for a career season right now (sitting at 882 receiving yards and his current average would have him around 1220 yards after a full season). He's only a few yards behind McInnis (888 yds) for the top Canadian receiver despite the quality of QB'ing we've had this season. Knock on wood that he can stay healthy and keep it going this year.
  12. Yeah, why change? Everything is great.
  13. Today
  14. Boy, we really are gonna run back last weeks roster arent we? Just put zach back on, even if he can't go, and make no significant changes. Not even gonna cycle guys on the PR.
  15. I am resigned to them losing to Ottawa this week. No shocker that O'Shea is sticking with Streveler.
  16. Yup but without the humour. Dave Ritchie was a riot to listen to.
  17. This is a cool idea but which BSC show are they putting on the service https://deadline.com/2025/09/scholastic-streaming-app-launched-kids-clifford-the-big-red-dog-1236546307/
  18. None of us gonna chill on roof tops waiting for others. No doubt.
  19. 100 percent...but a lot of the ch-cha changing is 1...2...3 yrs too late
  20. TBURGESS is now the voice of reason here. I totally agree for once.
  21. I suggest to anyone who follows this site and is finding it tedious/unbearable, head on over to the top issues being ‘discussed/debated’ on the world wide web. This place is a sanctuary compared to that and I thank the moderators for that.
  22. They ran, ran and then ran some more... that means there's less passing numbers total... streveler missed some throws for sure (but so did BLM, it happens) but the gameplan was run the ball and they did that.
  23. yeah it's on my watchlist and I would have it done sooner if it wasn't taken out of the PVR prematurely
  24. The Sting - classic movie.
  25. Why the **** would there be. Let’s actually be honest and not hardcore mark fans, they are selling out every game, they are the cash cow and basically the league standard as much as they pretend Regina is. Football in the end whether ppl want to admit or not is the business. The bottom line isn’t really winning the grey cup. I mean that’s the goal but the ultimate goal is to be the cash cow if you winning or losing. Ppl gonna stop going to games in the thousands all of a sudden. Doubtful. They have created an environment that is basically like a giant social with a football game being played. If I’m wade I’m disappointed and I would demand changes to the on field product but I’m not sure if I’m not inclined to give Walters and O’Shea another shot since if we really being honest, they probably both deserve it. If they want the chance next season to retool I give them that chance. I talk to both individually to get their opinions on who needs to stay and who needs to go, see how in tune they really are. Go from there. If they on the same page and agree changes needed and some guys need to be let go they can both get a chance to retool. If not and they both not In agreement they both go. I’d need my gm and coach on the same page and if they aren’t, they both can go. Who knows what’s up with Kyle and O’Shea. Osh can’t play the talent if it ain’t there and as much as some pretend ,none of these guys who were sitting on the pr and now rostered have really made a difference. There’s no game breakers there. I like person. I like Woodby. Allen is ok. But none are really difference makers.
  26. Griffin hurt = not good. He’s been pretty solid.
  27. Streveler completed 5 passes in the first half last game. 2 were to Brady. 1 was on a play Hamilton wasn’t really ready for. The OC ain’t great but I mean Streveler can’t throw a ball so what you expect really. Dude was never throwing for 300. He was 200 or less really. His entire cfl career. His high is 304 in a game and that was in 2018 or 19. Since then he’s averaged well under 200 yards passing per game. While I agree the OC ain’t helping, the argument could be made we win the game last week if Streveler just hands the ball off all game.
