  • I think the best we can hope for Macho is that he doesn't suck ALL the time.

  • You probably think you're pretty good at your job too. I Bucknor's tweet was reasonable and professional.

  • They're keeping Castillo as insurance. Big deal. Not the spectacle it's being made out to be.

Not surprised at all about Bucknor.

He was a weak link in a strong secondary.

Adams. Randle as corners is much stronger

Bucknor being cut doesn't entirely surprise me.

Me neither. He's been a fan whipping boy for a while and Randle is a superior CB by a mile. He's got to be making good money, too much to just be a backup. It's a good situation when you can cut a former starter because someone better took his spot.

Last game the thing that stood out to me the most on the D side was Bucknor being picked on and giving up big plays.

I am surprised and I'm  the first one to call him useless. Figured they would hide him for the patio and use randle or Adams at hb.

Wonder who else

I'm not going to be surprised if he's the only "surprise" cut.

He will survive in a league plagued with a shortage of Nationals, at the very least he is a good ST player and a viable DB to get you thru a game when need be.

I was surprised by this cut as I also thought he had a good camp

Cant see any more Canadians cut outright.

We won't have enough if we cut any more...

Surprised that Bucknor never got a look at Safety...

I'm in Calgary, so I only got to see him in the 2 preseason games and they were definitely picking on him.

So does Macho Harris replace Bucknor as the weak link.fan whipping boy?

he got that title as soon as he signed as far as I'm concerned.

Having Randle and J Adams on the corners is a prerequisite for having a capable secondary. Bucknor makes too much money to be a backup.

Everybody criticizes fans (especially in the echo chamber internet age) for saying a player sucks when he plays for another team then flip flopping when he comes to their team.

That's not the case here.  We all thought Macho sucked in Sask and now we think he sucks even worse.  I was really hoping for Patrick to win that spot.

I think Macho is definitely destined to be this year's EJ Kuale.
