I'd take Troy Smith over Brohm. Smith has passed for a TD and doesn't get his team's butt kicked.

Or trade for someone elses neg lister. Please no portis, no hall, no brink, no elliott, no boltus or anyone else who has tried and failed in the CFL consistently. Even Troy Smith im leery of as Mtls QB situation isnt as rock solid as others and he was let go..

We don't need to sign anyone as QB unless we can find an upgrade out there. Our PR QB just becomes our #3 QB.

 

If we really want another QB I'd sign Smith because he's the best available guy IMO. In fact, I'd probably sign him, teach him the offense then get rid of Brohm before the vet cutdown day.

how long is ray hurt for? i can't imagine him wanting to be #2 cuz hes ricky frickin ray, but i cant imagine the argos wanting to move from harris,  maybe we can swing a trade after we play them.  i wonder what it feels like to have qb problems where u cant decide who is #1 cuz 1a and 1b so good

The Cavalry is not coming, so grit your teeth and hang on folks. Who we got is who we will have for the rest of the season, for better or ill. There is a very real likelihood that Willy is looking at next year before he throws another football in anger, so if Marve aint it, we are stuck with hoping that Dom Davis has brought something to the party.
