gbill2004
@CFL_PR: The #CFL will make an important announcement at a media conference this morning at 11 a.m. ET in Toronto. @simmonssteve: You can scratch Tom Anselmi's name from list of CFL commissioner candidates. Someone's getting hired today but it's not him.

IC Khari
Throwing out a name I heard about in the past in the Free Press, ex San Diego Chargers VP Ken Derrett, a football guy who has experience in the CFL in the 80's. Also he was born in Winnipeg ...
bigg jay
I'm pretty sure I read that Derrett said thanks but no thanks when he was approached about the job. Lawless says he's heard Jeffrey Orridge's (excecutive director of CBC sports) name come up but he doesn't know if he's the guy who will end up getting named commish. The Unknown Poster
hard to believe that this has not leaked out some where, You'd think that would indicate an off-the -board choice. All the usual suspects and best guesses would surely have been sniffed out by now.

M.O.A.B.
Curious because he looks to be totally over-qualified for the position, good on the CFL. Same thoughts I have. A very good negotiator though. Let's see if how that works on Argo's stadium problem which will be his first major concern.
