Bulletin board material from Harris

Interesting considering Harris himself was held under 40 yards in week five, and as a team they rushed for exactly 100 yards in the game, nevermind the fact that their offensive line is a joke. You'd think considering the last time a member of the organization ran their mouth regarding the prediction of a game, that they may just want to keep quiet, but hey if they want to keep on looking stupid, all the power to them.

The boast makes for good media attention, but little else. Harris is one of the best running backs in the league and a darned good receiver to boot, and he has to be excited at the prospect of attacking the depleted front 7 of the Bombers. The Bombers are going to have their hands full. We are going to see if the running game is as trivial as Coach O'Shea says it is.

Andrew Harris is a very good RB but BC doesn't have the OL capable of imposing it's will on anyone.

Exactly. The Lions talk a lot and make a lot of promises but they are toothless and unable to deliver. Benevides is good for a few crucial coaching errors and Kevin Glenn is a journeyman QB who never wins when it really matters.

This shouldn't happen.  I'm surprised O'Shea let something like this become a distraction.

#Bombers LB Teague Sherman admitted the whole Andrew Harris, 250 yd thing got to some guys and was a distraction for the Bombers defence.#bn

What do you want O'Shea to do?  Practice mind control?  He doesn't control his players thoughts.  Speaks more to the focus of individual players who focused on that rather than doing their job properly each play.

I don't think it was any distraction at all- if anything, the Bomber offense was comatose.

Would have been the perfect time for the Bombers to turn the tables and pound the ball down the Lions throat.

With all due respect, I'm pretty sure Teague Sherman would know...or are you a member of the Bombers defense?

The available evidence indicates that the defence played pretty much as they have for the past six weeks or so- trying hard and coming up short. So, no change.

So you figure Teague Sherman is a liar?

Just stealing this instead of quoting 10 different posts lol, Some guys eh? I dunno who he could be referring too, thought the D played pretty well for the most part, they just were on the field basically the entire second half but... with that said, I wonder if "some guys" refer to the defensive coordinator and the defensive coaches, stacking the box there trying to take the run away completely instead of concentrating on both the run and the pass, bombers stuffed the run pretty well when they were constantly loading the box, but what happened was they did it too much and glenn made them pay a few times, bombers adjusted a bit in the second half but by then, the O was non existent and the d got tired out for sure. I wouldn't call Sherman a liar but I thin what he might be doing is trying to direct the blame elsewhere, distraction? i dunno but i do know it worked cuz the bombers defensive coaches certainly schemed to stop the run a little bit maybe too much in the first half. The lions had a few rushing yards for sure, lots of that near the end when the game was over but what really hurt them was concentrating too much on the run and not enough on the pass, the pass really burned them last night actually, big gains for sure from Glenn all night long, not all night but certainly a few big plays of 30 yards or more from the pass, Defensive coaches probably got distracted a wee bit.
