Judging by Ticketmaster there are a handful of tickets. I would be shocked if it isn't announced a sellout.

Zach might become the Bombers' 2nd all-tlme passing leader tonight.

Nailed it..as mentioned...coaching kills us

Have u ever seen osh get fired up on bench..get in a player's grill..do some actual coaching up...anything? I havnt...he does a lot of clueless smirking tho..staring at his play sheet like it might have a magical answer...a lot of dumb looks of why something didnt pan out...show a lil fire...maybe the players will follow...sad

And maybe really watch game and throw a challenge...that no yards non call was as easy an overturn as u could get....goof

And I would add it’s not just on MOS, it’s on the coordinators, the position coaches, the GM, the president etc etc who are responsible for setting the tone, setting expectations, setting how we do things around here.

Castillo has always gone through runs of the Yips. I don't think anything has changed in particular with him.

Wilie has been the best we've seen from him in a couple of years. The rotation and actual rushers at the other positions have breathed new life into him. He still sucks at option and isn't great in the run game, but as a pass rusher, he's doing everything we could want.

Nichols played very well last night as well, until he got hurt. Who knows how that will shake down, but he and Moxey did their jobs well. Injuries and the score forced us into a more vanilla D, and that's when and why the D improved last night. Jy has been making some strange calls. We saw the secondary stay in a shallow zone from a pre snap blitz read like robber early on, only we didn't have the high man to make robber work, and we just got beat. He ran some rotating cover and just not well-fit packages.

I will also say, we used Smith a lot more on D last night, and he gave us some great snaps. I don't love how we are deploying him, but he's still filled a lot of what we lost when Woodbey went down.

The failures were so across the board and diverse, it's not one guy or 5 guys. It's coaching and preparation. No one on the OL should be missing pre-snap alignments or pick ups like we saw. Bryant knows better than to leave Brady 1-on-1 with a DE. The fumbles, the blown assignments, it's all 3 phases at almost every position group. The amount of time it took us to adjust and get Zach out of the pocket and give him proper blitz beaters was awful.

I like JY a lot, and Marty, TC, etc. But that was a thorough failing of coaching, for the second week in a row. And that can't keep happening.

Yeah...I truly dont know what are coaches are doing

WJ has yes played well and when we deploy the right guys he is causing issues...Reece needs to get majority of reps opposite wj as he can bring it and makes an impact..and allows..or will allow one of them to come clean even in max protection

But we do it backwards cause Jenkins was here last yr..give him the minimal reps..especially when Dixon is back

Smith as well..just makes plays and witj more and more use..well he gonna excell...Same with Ayers at actual LB..he made plays Jones never would have..particularly that one pressure and controlled close on ball carrier to end a drive to make esks settle for fg

When woodbey back run Smith..Ayers..Griffin..who was lights out agin as your base and have Woodbey all over...DA Wilson as he offers more than Jones and use the Jones roster spot on some legit reciever help...or a true nose

And kelly should not be on the field for 80 percent of plays..like wtf is that?? And its not just cause he canadian..hes a huge weakness...but the excessive canadains whe u should be able to find better americans need to stop..sadly with Smug'shea its not happening...he shoulda got a thanks for the memories meeting in Jan and sent away...everything i feared is slowly creeping in..next week's game is likely one of.bigger of season and gonna set the tone for yr.

And I have zero faith we win right now..none..specially if Pokey is out..Cersesna..and we claim we just need to "watch film" and fix errors and execution..its more than that...its scheme..talent..or lack there of and how we deploy said talent...and that we watched and.fixed it just means...we will do exact same as we have zero clue

Agree...totally agree...but what is permeating from the HC spot oozes all over and pollutes everything.

Next week is huge game..may determine what direction we go remainder of yr..and i sure only changes made are due to a player physically unable to play

There is a sports adage: you are what your record says you are. so far, for at least the third year in a row, the Bombers have been out-played, out-coached, and out-scouted. There is an argument that we have been out-GMed as well. We poked fun at Jeremy O'Day but he has assembled the better team for at least two years now, and this is getting real old, real fast.

Stats are fun tho.

Hey look Tony jones had 7500 tackles last year. He must be really really good.

You are on a roll.

Oshea has been here for a long time. It's entirely possible that the team needs a new message.

A group of us here kept saying that at the end of the season last year. Some of us were advocating for change. Some posters, like me were doing it very loudly here. We were told by others that we need to STHU because They were the Trinity. All Wise & All Knowing. How can the Bombers fire a HC & GM after they went to the GC 5 times in a row & winning 2. So, instead of being fired, both Walters & Osh were given new 3 year fricking deals. Osh is here until the end of the 2028 season unless he resigns.

Out-scouted big time. Who was the last impact player we brought in via the neg list?

Pokey, and to a lesser extent Woodbey and Cam Allen are the best players brought in by our American scouts in a 4 year period. That’s simply not even close to good enough.

Right now, I’d say we have the worst scouting department in the league.

That was a frustrating loss - but we could have won - way too many mistakes. This is a coaching issue and a desire issue. I was really pissed off yesterday - so I did not post. We need some reality therapy - OSh and Walters are going nowhere this year. Both of them have earned some rope. But they need to step up.

In the past - when faced with a great deal of adversity - the Trinity has stepped up. They need to again.

Everybody got 3 year deals. It was Xmas in November to all. Let's keep Walters. Keep Osh. Keep The Trinity together. That was the refrain around here 7 months ago. How could we fire anyone? Fire them?? However, this is my team. I want them to win. I really hope they turn this thing around.... My confidence level isn't great that they will. BTW, i could have lived with 2 year deals. Not 3. There wasn't anyone in Bomber coaching & mgmt that deserved that long of a deal. Now, if things go south, we're hooped.

yup...but also some of the guys could have been good..hard to know as we clung onto old vets and marginal coaches favorites...I still stand on my opinion that Osh is a lousy evaluator of talent plain and simple...and the things he looks for and parlays to his scouting staff to find doesn't translate into elite players...maybe elite people and good guys...but you need more than good guys...and definitely need some thugs and just mean nasty guys...we have zero

I not saying bad character guys before some get their panties in a twist...but some badass dudes....and a lot of times those dudes are great leaders and the team follows their way of playing...you can be badass and mean and still play within the rules

I remember Ty Jones and to a lesser extent James WEST in warmups and before the game making a point of interacting and pissing off and dissing their opponents to th point they went right off their game trying to extract retribution and neglecting their assignments... and we feasted...

the repeated unpreparedness...and lack of fire...all on coaching...and it happens way too often...Once in a blue moon it happens...with theis crew of late the last several yrs...happens almost every other game

The last 2..3 seasons of failure with basically the same reasons for it...should have been all the rope...Walter's maybe should have a bit more...he did have what seems like a good off-season...and pooching the coach may reveal he made bad choices in talent brought in and who he chose to keep....if nothing really changes with a new coach if he gets the pink slip this yr and it's apparent the talent just isnt being brought in...then after yr 2 make the GM purge happen...both together is just too much upheaval when it's not a certainty it was the issue

Games and strategies..preparing change...Osh is oblivious to it

I don’t think he’s entirely oblivious. I just think there are things that he just won’t do, ie stubbornness, rationalizes stuff away and yes like all of us has some blind spots. He’s smart, he knows football and has a certain style in how he leads based on how he is wired as a human being. Right now it’s not working as well as it has along with also knowing some of the people around him ie scouts, gm, specific players, coordinators etc aren’t doing all they need to do but the old adage takes effect here you can’t fire all of them. Well you could fire the gm but then you would see the house cleaned out anyway.

Agreed, nobody plays nasty on the field anymore. Desarlais was good for that. Andrew had that attitude. Yoshi. DA. Westerman was another, though before the GC years.

I don’t think we have anybody like that on the roster right now. Possibly Reese but it’s too early to tell.

I nominate Wallace.

New voice? I mean I think what we need are some new players. Not lots of vets are left over. O’Shea has actually outlasted most the roster he had prior. Only a few guys been here the whole/most his time. Lots of new guys.

Osh also looked pretty pissed as did Zach at the end of the game. Emotions.

The Trinity this & the Trinity that... Some posters treat Walters, Osh & McManus like they're religious deities that can walk on water or part the Red Sea like Moses before them. To them. they never make mistakes. They agee with everything they do even though cham;pionship success is going on 5 years ago. Total BS. These three put their pants on the same way we all do. One leg at a time. They're not Gods. They're human. They are men & they make mistakes. They should have been put to pasture & fired last year but instead they're ineptitude was rewarded with 3 year contracts. And now, like the Elks were with Chris Jones & his long term contract that took years to expire. Or Ottawa with Bob Dyce. We are effed if this team fails.

All cuz we lost by 6 to Edmonton where our kicker missed 2 fgs and we turned the ball over a bunch. Wild. What if we had won that game?

Gods? lol. Good god man, so dramatic for an older fella aren’t we.

Oh relax, man. This is a discussion.. Go take your high blood pressure meds before you have a stroke. A lecture from you is ironic. You're a guy who talks **** here everyday. Don't lecture me. Lecture the ones who keeps referring to McManus, Osh & Walters as The Trinity, Sure as hell ain't me. You want to criticize anyone then do it to them. The people in charge have made plenty of mistakes. I've never called them The Trinity & never will.

I see a pattern is emerging that the HC seems out of touch with how to win in this league. The way he builds his roster. How he doesn't use the DI rules to the team's advantage. The CFL of 2026 is a different league than it was in 2017 & 18 when a much younger Osh & Bombers started their rise to the top. The league is different & those that don't adapt will get left behind. I think Osh is stuck in a different world as a head coach. Is he losing the team? Is his message starting to fall on deaf ears? It will if we don't start winning. We're on a two game losing streak. We'll see if things can be turned around. One of two things will happen. It either gets better or it gets worse.

U obviously havnt really observed the last 3 yrs...or really looked at the first 3 games..if cgy fielded the dline this week against us in week 1...we would be staring up from 0-3

Its not about the loss to the elks..but the total unprepared state to start..the roster on offence that crippled us due to 1 injury...players playing with lack of any urgency...or is it just lack of talent...is all right in line with the last several seasons of flopping...look at the whole picture.. not just selective bits of it...the 6 point loss flattered us more than signified we on right track or solid ground...if anything as history has shown will just confirm to osh that we are good and no changes are required in any area..I bet only change we see will be soley due to injury forcing it..and likely we see a questionable at best roster move..no changes for performance or lack there of tho.. I'll eat my hat if its different and take the verbal lumps from the boot lickers but I'm not too concerned about that happening
