we need to land Gittens...Go 3 Cdn receivers if possible....gives us way more flex ratio wise and allows us to roster impact guys on defence for rotation...and Smith and Shay should be more than adequate to be used in roles that Ayers and Woodbey took last yr...further strengthening our flexability and get useful DA's on roater...Idf they not trusted, or gonna be neglected...then WTF they doing on roster...we have seen enough of a roster with middling teamers who get zero reps and chance to produce...let alone develop...thats piss poor coaching

A White...Demski...Pookie...Gittens...Neild/Clercius combo with Cobb and hopefully someone not named Corcoran as depth would not be a bad thing at all with BO lugging the rock...and use of CDN guys like Shay and Smith in roles that Ayers and Woodbey took will allow us to roster another guy like Taylor or Banks...Especially if we use Vaval at corner...freeing up his DA spot...I have zero concern/issues with him doing dual duty.....not like it's never been done before in the league

Nobody has told Hamilton they can sign players that aren't former Bombers.

Wheatfall no longer fit here....But he's a good signing and can see him having a solid yr there...I bet he a 1000 yard guy this yr

If anyone was to critique our squad last yr on offence and who we rostered/played and how we used them and didnt know any better re: the history of our guys and team....I bet the consensus would be that save for BO and maybe Demski....the whole unit would be considered crap....as it pretty much was

That would be sick, I'm hoping we go 3 canadians. And hoping that the last game demotion of clercius wasn't us getting stupid with the roster again. If Corcoran ever starts again %^&$ should hit the fan.

Yep. And the good news is, currently, we look to be better at every single position group save for QB and RB. And we might end up better at QB once camp rolls by. Rb, well, it would be damn hard to improve on that. If MCI starts putting it together, though, watch out. If he had like a 400-500 yards rushing at 5 per and 100-ish receiving yards, with his size, athleticism, and already much improved blocking, he would be NFL-bound.

yeah....dont understand the Clercius deal...maybe he was hurt....but he did nothing wrong to get demoted, and his work outside of catching balls cant be discounted....If we just go 2 Cdn recievers there no way Corcoran should be on roster with Demski..Clercius..Neild...Cobb....and if he is...Osh needs a good swift kick to the plums...as he does zippo on teams...cant return...and sucked ass in the role that Clercius and Woli before him did

MCI as well is an ace in the hole...legit as legit can be for talent and athleticism....but wayyyyy under used...dare I say not used

Maybe a good thing cause if the 3 stooges from the RIder's got looks (KSB/Lenius/Ajou) then MCI with any tape would have too...and likely stuck...Those 3 got a look cause how they "looked"...MCI looks even more the part...and his measurables blew all 3 of them right out of the water and wasnt even close

Hopefully this yr Condell see's the benefits of his use.

Biggest fear with how this off-season is playing out is that we'll DI 3 American LB's and totally ignore pass rush/any kind of versatility or diversity of looks on O and depth in the secondary.

We have some pretty tough depth needs that people will overlook losing guys like Gauthier, Hallett if they aren't coming back. We probably should be replacing them but we haven't. Smith, Shay at LB, Ball and Kelly at DB (think Kelly failed the test big time even as a fill in on D last year)....not much strong depth at DL.

OL is real weak for Canadians. Clercius, Corcoran are just bodies. Not many routes they are winning and we're built to require 3 Canadian receivers because of our OL.

Need a big draft.

It's pretty sparse. Ulm, DeMontagnac will probably come north right away. If they look reasonably decent at pro day's/combines they'll probably be gone in the top 10 picks. There's a solid guy on Laurier who will be at the combine. The rest of the combine guys aren't huge prospects but might make themselves into one. There's also a random guy from Texas with Canadian parents who has never played in college.
