In the words of O'Shea, everyone is a starter.

That's what got us into the situation we are now. No, not everyone is a starter. Some are career backups. Some are career special teamers. Everyone has a role to play on a team but everyone is a starter? If everyone is a starter then why aren't all players on the Bombers paid like they're starters? That's Osh being fricking Osh.

going jones to sankey is a lateral move, certainly not one worth losing sleep over or spending money on.

We have a good group of bigger wils who can actually run/cover ground, and play inside gaps. The only LBers in free agency I would look at is allen, and mcmanis. Who are the top tier of value at wil/mac.

I always thought the guy's name was Wynston McManis. Not Wynton. I wonder if Jim Barker will try to sign him before free agency? Or will he test what's out there?

signed peyton thorne. wow its going to be interesting to watch the qbs in camp. Mich state, auburn, played at good schools. Guy has incredible raw talent and athleticism. Easy smooth arm action with a good release. Very capable runner. He’s not really wired for high volume running.

Great upside in a young guy.

Too bad about Parker as I believe injuries kept him from being really good. That said given his injury history, I am ok with them moving on.

When does Dillon Mitchell get officially released?

I was informed a bit a go his contract has run up therefore no need to release just don't re-sign.

I'm hoping we give qb's a real chance this year.   No more keeping them on the bench until the 2nd last week of the season in garbage time.

If Philip Rivers can start in the NFL after 5 years away from the game at the age of 44 with only 1 week of prep... why can't we give real game time to qbs who have been through training camp and months with the club.

Wilson pretty much done confirmed. Only QB back from last year will be Zach and Artopoeous. I do wonder if Streveler is added as a coach tho. Right now it’s Zach and 3 guys with zero cfl actual game experience. Only way they throw a ball is if Zach is hurt tho.

That would actually make a bunch of sense based on what OShea said in the interview yesterday about a couple of options and it's TBD that Jackson is back. They probably want 1 of them in the mix as an offensive QC coach type and they want to figure out who it's going to be.

What has Streveler shown that screams coach?

he actually runs a really good QB school....and is great with the x's and o's of things....He has got a lot of praise for his work with young QB's....so he would be a pretty good addition to the coaching staff as he rehabs....we gave Thomas a spot and he does pretty much zero in regards to coaching to this point

Any Corhuskers fans?

Jahmal Banks was signed today. Seems like an intriguing signing as he's 6-4 and was suspended by the NFL earlier this year for some reason.

like this...and interesting.....he was available because essentially nobody wanted to have to deal with the 6 game suspension if signed so the way the NFL churns guys over wasnt worth the wait....could be a real good score for us tho

Real good in making tough catches...actual hand catcher, and as a big bodied guy actually eats up a lot of space quickly.....kind of guy ZC would thrive with in regards to some his ducks he tends to throw deep now

Reminds a bit of kenny lawler. Tremendous hands and ability to catch contested balls win 50/50 and pay the physical price to get big possession catches. He tested a bit better than lawler but i don’t see him running open much. Great body control, positional awareness, and the size to go with it. I love the football iq when his qb breaks the pocket and how he comes back to the ball.

How he adapts to our game and if he can get open vs pro dbs are the big questions. Very good prospect for us.

Yeah had some Lawler vibes for sure..but bigger more durable body

Looks to be able to have use in the short game as well

Definitely knows how to use frame to box out defenders..and like he is a hand catcher...mitigates being separated from ball in traffic
