I wish I could live in a world where everything was so black and white. To go from where we were at a few short seasons ago to where we are now, multiple guys get to wear the horns. Even acknowledging all of that, we are an organization that's enjoyed an unparalleled level of success (on and off the field) these last several years. There’s an orange turd down south working on that very thing. Noeller and Booch 1 1

He is the boss. Everything that is done in our organization falls on him. If Osh's handling of the roster is costing us, that's on Walters to address. You guys just want to hand the guy whose responsibility it is to have a championship roster a free pass and that's BS. He has not provided a championship calibre roster. If your measure of his success is that a couple DE's played great in an exhibition game, Woodbey, and Allen then it's no wonder he's getting this free pass. Talent lost FAR outweighs talent brought in thus our decline. We can say he was in roster maintenance mode, but again that's not what good GM's do and money is only an object if you do boneheaded things like pay a RB 250k and couple it with an over the hill QB making 600k. Is that on MOS too. As for money to spend, that's entirely and 100% Walters doing or undoing if you will. He controls the SMS and how it's spent. I still can't believe people are still trying to justify the crap job our front office has done over the past three years with last year being an absolute abomination. Vaval, Allen, Woodbey are a bare minimum for any team for an offseason. That being said I think Walters is a top notch GM when he applies himself. I think he got fat and sassy the past few years. I trust he can rebuild, what I don't trust is his recognition of need to do so. He has been far too happy to let talent go over the past several years without bringing equal amounts of talent back. That has to change....like right freaking now. You hit the nail on the head with this post.

Chris Jones would be so happy that someone FINALLY understands lol Accountability goes like this; First, Wade, 100% responsible. Then Walters, 100% accountable. Next Mos with 100%. Accountability doesn't break down into portions. Its whole or none. Now, in terms of correcting their mistakes, Walters is, imo, 60% to where he needs to be. He needs an excellent free agent period for the first time since probably before the 2021 season. His drafting has turned back around, as has our rookie-level recruiting. Wade is 30%. He has less direct impact, but I think bringing back both Walters and Mos was soft, unless he's really laid down the law and fixed that whole mess of complacency. Mos is 5% the way there. Now, Walters is facing the off-season and the bulk of his work. Which could look like an A plus and be much worse when the season begins. And Mos won't really begin to start till TC. But I haven't seen anything from him that makes me think he will change course and actually correct anything. I hope I am wrong on that, but actions are needed. SpeedFlex27 and Booch 1 1

One only has to look at how Osh is handling Hogan. He knows the guy has a lot of shortcomings as a coach. That he isn't ready even after a year under fire as OC. He knows the players aren't happy either but that doesn't seem to matter to him. The season for us ended 5 weeks ago. Other teams have announced coaching changes. Here we are still dicking around with the question of whether Hogan will be back or not & not a word fom our hea coach. My gut feeling is the longer this goes on, the chances of Osh keeping him as OC increases. If he was going to change OC, I believe we'd have known it by now. So, Osh says he needs to change the way he coaches but in the end, nothing seems to have changed. blue85gold 1

Truth is you have no idea whether the team made the decision to move on from Hogan or not but ALL indications are that they have by actively interviewing other people for the job. Some arbitrary deadline you make up in your head doesn't mean anything. Bigblue204 1
Brandon Posted 1 minute ago Report Posted 1 minute ago I blame the guy who purposely avoids putting the best players on the field which would then give us the best chance at winning.
