Piggy 1 1
Booch Posted 21 hours ago Report Posted 21 hours ago well firstly on the QB and where the RB is...or motion he showing....you dont know where ball is...or likely to go...bull rushing straight ahead with does you no real good, especially if the lineman just engages you and lets you do it knowing that it will be ineffective A lot of Jakes problems is he has zero technical skill....hand fighting skills....and cant get off a block to make a play...just last game alone look how many times Woods was engaged and fought off the block to make the play...get in on making it with others, or just disrupting it...Lawson too...Lawson camm bull rush then toss away his lineman and make a play...Jake cant....for yrs now if ever HardCoreBlue and Piggy 1 1 1
ShyGuy Posted 13 hours ago Report Posted 13 hours ago What is the status of the Als roster right now? Seemed like during the game every second play they were taking an injury timeout. Hard to judge injuries from inside the stands though Bigblue204 and Noeller 2

Likely won't know more until practice resumes this week... https://3downnation.com/2025/10/26/montreal-alouettes-lose-game-key-players-before-playoff-rematch-with-bombers-seven-thoughts/ Quote When the Als took the field on Saturday, they hoped for only one thing: to head back home with all the soldiers healthy. It didn’t happen as defensive tackle Mustafa Johnson, defensive end Lwal Uguak, offensive lineman Jesse Gibson, and running back Stevie Scott III all had to leave with apparent injuries. So a few key players didn't finish the game, I imagine anyone who picked up a ding no matter how minor probably got to ride pine though Noeller 1
Pete Posted 4 hours ago Report Posted 4 hours ago 9 hours ago, M.O.A.B. said: Bombers should pickup Cameron Duke YeAh he could be a good practice qb,as long as we never have to play him, but seriously we need a competent 2 string with starting potential , a short ydge one and a developmental pr qb. Atropolis may fit pr one, but the other 2 need to be added. That is without looking at starting qb Next yrs qb room should be significantly different wbbfan 1

I also am worried he plays a not ready Demski as well...cause I not sure he gonna be totally healthy and with a hammy...one lil tweak again and he's done....with how Smith played on defence...Lawson...Kramdi likely back..we can delegate 2 Canadians for atria on defence and technically not have to have 2 Canadian receivers.....we seen how this dance has gone before playing not healthy recievers in playoffs and it screwed us royally Run out a Wheatfall...Echols...Pokey..Clercius...Stearns unit ...heavy use of BO and sprinkle in some dual backfield sets with Peterson...even MCI and trust in them to get to the EF with a "healthier" Demski wbbfan, Piggy 1 and rebusrankin 3

Dumping Thomas for Bailey would make us a better team if Osh doesnt want to drop one of Ball or Corcorran who do nothing for us really ...Cobb has way more value than Corcorran and we have big bodies in MCI and Clercius to use in a blocker role that they put Corcorran out there for...and is not good at...so him on roster is a waste...Dress Vibert again...hate to have 2 lineman go down in a playoff game and then have to have JT sucking on the oline too wbbfan, bearpants and Piggy 1 3

However, he isn't. This is a kid with NFL pedigree, that showed an amazing ability to quickly adapt to the yard off the ball. He is legit talent and showed it. That is why I think it's a no-brainer he at least gets the nod over Person. He had probably the 2nd best performance of any DE we've had this season. we've had other rookies the past couple years show some ability at DE but were also non factors for much of and many of the games. This kid not only got home with sacks, but noticeably disrupted on most of his reps. Legit. Edited 1 hour ago by GCn20 Booch and rebusrankin 1 1

I agree...as much as I like Person and believe he gonna be good....Jenkins is more CFL ready...that being said him...Jenkins and Jaworski will all be solid guys for tc next yr and all could be on the roster in my opinion He showed polished technique and ability already....the one where he faked a bullrush and with speed and agility cur underneath the tackle and came fee for a shot on the QB...you dont see that oftem....especially out of a rookie...he's got some serious chops Bailey as well...he showed power moves...was wicked fast off the edge...and he got clean shots on Q.B onmore than one occasion....and as we saw....is more than capable on ST's....we need some speed/power guys....and that in itself may get our Gray beards on end to play with more spunk blue85gold 1

Hopefully we dress them. I can understand the difficulty though, because whoever we put on the PR to make room could very well be FA's so we must choose carefully. Can't expose any of our young NAT talent to get them on board. Mind you there is always the 1 game IR, certainly we must have the cap room to do that. Edited 21 minutes ago by GCn20
3rdand1.5 Posted 17 minutes ago Report Posted 17 minutes ago I too would like to see Jenkins for Person, and Baily for a depth Canuck.....I really like Allen and Holm, Housten, Nichols, Parker with Lawson backing up, I do like our LB core, Griffen and Woodsby both have impressed me, and although one could argue the two Canucks should have had more reps, they do seem to form solid depth, If a rested Willy can find his form, with Jake, Lawson, Woods rotating in between him and Vaughters with Baily and Jenkins actually rotating I believe the D-line will be decent. Overall. I am not concerned about the defence, especially if we have at least a bit of rotation along the D-line......I like our specials, I think we have an advantage on that 3rd over Mtrl. It's all the offence that scares me......save two games they have been utterly terrible this year....and I mean terrible, look at the ints. this year.... we won a game with what 9 passes...and are going into teh playoffs with two completely putrid offensive games back to back.... any one of the three qbs we have played at times have a D player in their face almost instantly...and can't find open receivers...it can't be all three...it has to be routes and schemes...., heck week 18 we saw a guy come clean through the A gap......untouched.....our deep ball is virtually nonexistent...at least to our own team that is.... we forget to manage the clock and seem to have little to no comprehension of situational awareness, we appear to gamble when we should play safe and play safe when we should gamble, save for one game we have not seemed to build on plays throughout the game to get into a rhythm....I don't have the yardage stats, but we must have the worst flats passing attack in the league...false starts, offsides, no ends like it were preseason most of the year...I could go on but I don't want to be too depressing..... IF our offence even plays a decent game, like 200 yards passing, no turnovers avoids avoidable penalties and uses our run game, we will win with the defence and special teams we have...we can and I dare say "should" with our experience win this game...but the offence at least needs to show up and protect the ball.......This year though that is a tough ask

And yeah we must have cap room with schoen..makonzo..Logan all off books extended time... Wonder if we see Smith get a good amount of reps again...he played very well...and the more reps...the better and quicker the development.. Ayers too...got to actually play his natural position and made plays..sucks it took Osh 18 games to get guys reps..

Gotta keep ZC clean and minimize risk of him getting smacked around...so if its a quick hitter game..lotsa run type plays like we saw vs Hamilton...that go a long way in how successful we are..I'm quite concerned with Demski tho..and if he not legit 100 percent he shouldn't be playing with a hammy issue...past history makes me cringe we dress a gimp...and then just handcuff ourselves
WinnipegGordo Posted 4 minutes ago Report Posted 4 minutes ago Don't have to be concerned with cap room as SMS stops at the end of the regular season. Normally the only guys left on the practice roster are players that the Bombers are willing to let walk. Otherwise they will be 1 gamed.

I also forgot to add the best part of the game is ....NO MORE AIR HORNS.... that was the best single change the league did all year.....
