I mean, obviously. I’m sure the higher ups on the Riders also call it the Banjo Bowl.

I do not, however, think it makes much sense to be okay with calling the LDC the “Banjo Bowl Preview” but be mad because Rider fans are calling the BB the “Labour Day rematch.”

Last weekend... Either the CJOB pre game or the Handled Internally podcast (can't remember which) said Wade has taken to calling it that. And he should... The Labour Day game has become a joke where they can barely sell enough tickets.... And our game is the standard bearer for live CFL football. Yes our team is not great this year, but when it comes to watching a CFL game live, there's Winnipeg and there's everyone else a long way back. 

Tl/Dr: Banjo Bowl Preview Game and Banjo Bowl. Full stop.

CFL transactions page says Cobb goes to the PR and Matthew Peterson comes back on the AR.

Apparently Eli and Vibert were splitting time at left guard on Wednesday so I guess if Wallace and Vanterpool are both out then probably Vibert comes on as the 6th and Eli starts at LG.

This is a fair point.   Just let the fan bases do what they want to do.  We call the Labor Day game the banjo bowl warm up... And they'll call it the Labor Day rematch.  

There are worse things to get all bent out of shape about.

man eli has struggled in pass pro at G, vibert has upside but i think he’s a year two step up away from being a guy you’re comfy with. 

 That said, it’d be funny if vibert is on the ar because then eli is the 3rd best centre at best on our ar lol

Our centre doesn't need to block anyone, so they'd both be good there.

you're missing the point... it's not just the fans that call it the labour day rematch... the Rider org and management refuse to call it the banjo bowl... this whole "banjo bowl preview" is a joke from fans, mostly at this site (I've never heard/seen it anywhere else)...

in conclusion... one is just a fan thing... the other is a cry-baby organization who's feelings are hurt by the name of a football game...

In general, the best way to disrupt a QB is give him all the time in the world in the pocket... and have zero pocket collapsers... also no interior rush/run stop is solid too... that's how I would build my defense!

Like the old saying goes... the lines aren't very important to football and you can easily win with shitty line play (I think I have that right)... teams are build from the outside in? Is that it?
