VA is the king of putting together 4-5 game stretches where he looks like MOP and shitting his pants the rest of the season.

From what I saw the O was playing ok and moving the ball with Zach. The D tho was terrible from play 1.  Willie should be benched for his complete stupidity. The DLine gets no pressure or no anything. LBs can’t tackle. Every Calgary receiver was wide open. Wide wide open.

Too much complacency on this team and it shows. This has been 2 years in the making now. Cracks started to show badly summer 2023, continued last year and now it's to the point where it's a full on dam bursting situation. They'd best remove heads from asses and make some hard decisions before it gets beyond saving. No reason Mitchell, a guy you identified as a priority in the offseason doesn't get on the roster for one thing.

That pick in the 3rd was the turning point for sure. Whole team just delated like a sad balloon after that.

Streveler needs to know not to make that pass, you are 1st and 7 and Brady was feasting, get rid of it or push yourself forward to make it 2nd and 5 or whatever... But I don't know what Clercius was doing there, he just sat down at the front of the end zone by the pylon hoping the ball makes it to him... Streveler scrambling and is about to throw off balance, go get the damn ball even if you catch it at the 1 or 2 and hope you can make a play, instead Greene jumps right in front of him and it ends up being curtains.

Clercius doesn't have a ton of space there.  Want him to run out of bounds?  Ball needs to get out way earlier if he's going to try to make that pass but really like you said just needs to eat it or throw it away.  Also note how Streveler is basically completely parallel to line of scrimmage and gets zero from his lower body into that throw.  Complete arm toss like most of his passes.  Guy should not be playing.

Walters dismantled our receiving corps letting Lawler & Woli go. You can see just how much better the Stamps receivers are compared to us. Our DL is just terrible. Our secondary was confused all night & had no answer for Vernon Adams throwing the ball. You get what you paid for.

I dunno looking at the replay as Streveler flicks the pass at him he pretty much steps moving, goes down to a knee to make sure he is still in the end zone and watches the ball move towards him. If Streveler was set and could get some zip onto it, or if the Stamps were running the same coverage the Bombers were when Rhymes scored his TD... but the Bombers had 4 receivers on that side of the field, it looks like they ran a lineman down to the goal line, Demski was sat down just on the other side of the goal line, and it looks like they were trying to clear out the top with Sterns... Clercius ran an out above 5 yards deep before creeping back... I think you have to expect that there will be a defender lurking somewhere around that point. If he takes 1 or 2 steps towards the ball instead of stopping, either he catches it and the Bombers try to push it forward, or Greene runs through him and there is maybe a call.

Collaros has lost a step and  Strevlerer is not a starting qb.

Wolitarsky still hasn't played a game yet this season after missing 8 last year. I'm not sure how well Zach going '**** it, Kenny down there somewhere' would work out when he is one of the worst at passes 20+ yards deep the last 2 seasons.

Mike O'Shea makes some strange decisions as a coach & his decisions are a major contributor to put us in the position we're in. However, I blame Kyle Walterss for the team we have now. We had a disastrous off season. You could tell the talent level for our starterss took a nosedive onc free agency started & we are also razor thin for depth.

The shocking thng is Kyle Walters was the architect of the steaming pile of garbage we have now. He did nothing all off season or for a number of seasons befor that going back to 2022. He let people leave & did nothing to replace them. We had trememdous depth at the time & over the years it's been whittled away. If that's the kind of  of general managing he's going to do then let him go do it somewhere else. He needs to get his head out of his ass & actually start doing something. Even though it's kinda late now. This could be a lost season.

Look at our stats. We suck at receiver. Maybe Woli was a bad example, I agree but look what's happened to our receiving group. We had chances to sign available free agents out there like Dominique Rhymes this past off season. We chose not to. Just like we sat pat on the DL.

I don’t think the pick was the turning point. I think it sucked and it was dumb and maybe reminded people that we weren’t winning this one but I think the turning point happened every time calgarys O was on the field in the first half especially. Our D couldn’t stop them. The only thing that stopped them were penalties and drops really. Receivers were wide open. Wide wide like double lane highway wide open. We couldn’t stop the run either. That was the turning point. The wind was taken out of the sails because our D couldn’t stop **** and it was obvious to all 33 k at the stadium plus prob 75 to 150k more Manitobans watching at home, we ain’t what we used to be. Not by a long shot. The mighty has fallen. Self inflicted it appears. Nope not cuz of no lawler either, this team still sucks with lawler. But because honestly. The guys who we play the most are garbage and wouldn’t be starting for most teams in the league.  Thomas. Kyrie. Tony. All would be out of the league. At this point Willie might be Also. Bridges is awful. He should be cut. There’s no reason. He’s not a vet yet. Cut him. Would these guys go on to be better with other teams? No. God no. Like I dunno. We got a few guys who prob shouldn’t be playing anymore. And I’m wondering if maybe Streveler is one also.

Well this will go round and round... some of the big free agents acquisitions are not getting on the roster... so is it a gm problem or a who the coach.plays problem?

It sucks because it’s hard to get excited. Like sure we still have some great players on both sides of the ball. Established players who have reached their ceiling already but it’s so hard to get excited about the what’s coming in the pipeline. Like there’s not a single young player on this team when I see us losing by 20 I can be like well thank god there’s going to be better days because X is starting to become a problem in this league, and by part it’s O’shsas absolute stubbornness of rolling out his guys game after game year after year. Even when you sign a free agent like Jones or Mitchell to help your team they both can’t get onto the field, what does that say to other players around the league when they’re looking to sign on free agency? What about all the young talent I saw in camp? There’s about a half dozen guys atleast on this starting roster that should be out of here and out of the league. There’s simply no chance to fight for a spot unless there’s an injury and we’re starting to see the consequences of these results now.

I agree, VAJ at least needs to put in a full season of success before he's anointed as elite. We had smatterings of his usual self last night but our D just couldn't get it done.

Not the game I watched. It looked iike 80% of the time his line gave him the needed protection to eat up our secondary and establish the run. 

I'm thinking MOS has that we've been here before (losing multiple games in a row), we'll work our way out, stay the course and the naysayers will quieting down.
