Yeah...a coach does tell a g.m potential free agents he would like...whats your issue dude?

You are just creating your narrative with assumptions...cause u are an osh sycophant...I've been in a coaches room...dealt with agents and scouts...involved in recruitment at NCAA level and yes pro.. and a coach does exactly what I said....your just talking crao now.   Sorry to offend but u have minimal clue what u are talking about in this instance

And we...u....have no clue how a guy would perform that got cut loose with no real chance...none...to say every guy is a ham n eager is laughable and discredits a lot of what u said

Every import dt brought in the last 2..3 yrs and one we kept (woods/adams) would make us a better fence with reps given to Thomas...Korn...Schmeck...that dud we drafted that was practically 30..we don't need that spot as cdn to even meet ratio as it is...and if we did..flip the ratio...but we choose to let better players go...and play 2...sometimes 3 slugs there...that's on Osh...osh alone...not walters

And g.m builds the roster?? U just validated u have no clue...if the g.m is picking the roster then u have all kinds of issues and problems in your team hierarchy

With that stupid declaration...I guess KW sets lineup every game as that's him building the roster? Or is it the HC...who sets roster..and PR? Do tell...aka "building " roster

A HC clinging to old...past their prime...old and never had a prime...no upside other than ST play....and letting guys go in camp...who could be better...or have upside...that's not on the g.m

And if the new guy isnt getting it done enough...bring in more...keeping garbage and just slowing down the process isnt the way...but its been our way

Yeah....he just discredited himself with that b.s

He knows his stuff in regards to schemes and play creation...etc...but is just out in space with roster details...its just his opinion...not fact based

Honestly Booch, I think you are full of **** on this whole insider thing you are peddling here. So call me down if you wish but at least I don't pretend to have a network of insiders. Every prediction you've made around here based on "insider talk" has turned out to be completely false narrative. A couple years ago you told us that Willie J was unhappy and was leaving the Bombers because of Osh. He signed with us two days later. So cram it. I'm not buying what you are selling. I never once stated that the GM makes the game day roster, but he signs the players. THAT IS HIS JOB not O'Sheas and you saying otherwise just proves my theory that you are full of ****. You might be able to pull the wool over some guys around here but I've seen a thousand of you "insider" guys come and go from a thousand different forums. All suck and blow and this nonsense that our camp cuts were somehow allstars we let go is ridiculous. You've had a blind hate on for OSH for 3 years now and it is really making you biased. Like to the point you are making up stuff now and then being offended when some of us aren't stupid enough to believe it. You are literally defending Walters because you only want the heat on OSH. Like get serious man, Patterson and Dolegala....stupidest thing I've read all year.

Says in the release that fans can follow along on CFL+ apparently... What a weird thing to do... Drop an announcement seemingly this big on a Sunday afternoon, 3/4 of the way through the season.

Guess we'll see tomorrow morning...

Ya if this partnership with the Bills all of a sudden turns into "we're going to full NFL rules and going to be an NFL feeder league"... Out of nowhere 3/4 of the way through a season... It would be the most insane thing ever. That's the kind of **** you figure out in the offseason.

I certainly hope it's not any of the changes suggested above...Would be controversial to say the least...I guess we better wait till the other shoe drops...Certainly is odd timing if it's major changes to the league...

I can't imagine it being anything outside of maybe some kind of streaming deal ,  gambling deal,   NFL deal  where the ratio changes,  something of interest but nothing that would completely overshadow the Grey Cup.

"... commissioner Stewart Johnston will hold a press conference on Monday, September 22 at 1:00 p.m. EDT to make what the league’s own media release termed “a major announcement regarding significant changes to the game.” It remains unclear what the changes are, when they will take effect, or just how sweeping they will be..."

The thing that 17to85 brought up is, with rules changes... Don't they have a rules committee that has to approve any changes?

It all feels so random and out of nowhere...

We getting new footballs. Trust me it’s gonna be something lame. Tsn not carrying the PC so you know it’s nothing overly significant. It’s gonna be something to do with cfl plus since that’s where they having the pc.

There's been a significant lack of scarves in the league since Ambrosie left.  New mandate requiring all coaches and executives to wear them at CFL events.

Reading through the CFL “insiders” on Twitter, sentiment seems to be to start preparing for NFL style rule changes.

They gonna eliminate the need for kickers and special teams so basically our O when Strev plays.  4 downs I think might get some major backlash and then in 3 days they will do another pc to announce significant changes. Seems odd tho cuz maybe 40 ppl will tune in Monday at 1 pm where the world is at work coming back from lunch. Dumb time.

It's interesting because this guy was with TSN prior to this gig... And we know how loudly the TSN talking heads (Naylor in particular) were banging the drum for NFL rules.... So I'm wondering if Ambrosie was staving that off and then a TSN guy got into power and is going to lean full force into the CFL being an NFL feeder league.....

imagine the tariffs on imports tho. Don’t see that happening. If it was that significant tsn would carry it.

To be fair no one is actually saying NFL.  But it is more around these changes are significant.  League needs to change for revenue, too many teams losing money.

Don’t know what else this could be, especially with the influence MLSE has now.

You have to think if it was truly major changes then tsn carries the pc. Sportsnet might even. But nope.

prob a big sponsorship deal? Maybe a deal with the nfl actually where each team gets a couple million bucks. No idea. Toronto has an agreement with buffalo. Us and Minnesota. I dunno. BC and Seattle. Buy 1 get one. Yeah. I dunno. Could be anything. Streaming deal makes sense since announced on their streaming service

Do we really think the number one reason young fans aren't watching in the worst markets is the rules, though? I think it's more "I don't look football, and I don't like football that isn't the NFL". Rule changes won't fix either of those.
