Maier looked like a qb I wouldn't want on my team. He looked just like he did in Calgary. Maier reminded me of Matt Nichols in his last couple of years. Can't push the ball downfield consistently on his deep throws. below average arm strength. Passes all over the field underneath. Throws 6 yards when he needs ten. Ten yards when he needs 20, etc. Maier seems afraid to take chances & let his receivers work to make contested catches & is just very conservative in his approach. You can't win with a guy like that who play so damned uninspired. 

Is Alexander Hollins someone we should try to sign? He was a very dynamic receiver before his knee injury a few years ago. Is he worth a look see?

He was already under contract for 2025 and he wanted to stay but that doesn't change the fact they cut him twice because they were too far apart when it came to money.  Why would the 3rd time be the charm? 

Unless he's willing to take less money, I don't see how that changes - at least right now.  A couple of injuries and guys on the 6 game could free up cap space for the Lions to bring him in later on.

I don't know what Calgary's receiver group looks like, but following Adams to Calgary seems like it'd be the natural thing for Hollins, no?

The last Mitchell has shown very little so far. Unless there are undelying reasons why with a probablity of significant, rapid improvement, I would definitely bring Hollins in for a look-see. If nothing else, it would send a message.

Begelton at 25 is brutal, To me, he's a top ten guy.  A receiver that elevates his quarterback and another guy who can solo a passing attack.

I honestly can't remember the last time Trevor Harris took a team anywhere, and he's played all over the league!  Was he standing behind Henry Burris watching when the RedBlacks won the Cup in 2016?
