Week 11 - Blue Bombers (7-2) @ stumps(3-6) - GDT

CFL-2022-July-15-Winnipeg-Blue-Bombers-v

And the skinny from our man Tait:

Scene setter:

The Blue Bombers (7-2) and Stampeders (3-6) reached the midway point of the season last week moving in opposite directions. Winnipeg is on a three-game heater since the shocking collapse in Ottawa, including last week’s 38-29 win in Edmonton in which Dru Brown came off the bench to throw for 300 yards and four TDs – erasing a 22-0 deficit in the process. The Stamps, meanwhile, have lost three of their last four, including last week’s 37-9 mauling by the B.C. Lions.

The big news heading into this one is Brown getting the start for Zach Collaros, who did not practice all week.

  • That's unnecessary roughness, but a guy jumping on the QB's head is no penalty.

Kramdi sucks in coverage.  So stiff.

Man we need more tacklers and less hitters.  Almost let Carey get loose with like 6 guys surrounding him.

Miss by Kramdi

Great tackling.  Had him 6 yards back and then let him get 5 of them back.

Ffs... How is beggleton that wide open?

Poor coverage

And FFS...just tackle the guy when u have him already for a loss instead of pulling at ball at letting him get 5 extra yards...hate that habit

Not the most entertaining game, Calgary hanging around worries me

Meh. Compared to some other games, this is a hot start.

We’ll wear them down.

Oh you right. He and Thomas do things more important than defend… lol

LaPo  making fun of Farham cause it true, was in BC last year on a beautiful 19 degree day and many were wearing parkas

Yeah, I’d really like to see the 3 Pierre-Luc Labbes out of the starting rotation.

Wasn't just on Kramdi...but everyone too busy slobbering over 31

Nice holes by the OL tonight so far.

A TD would be a nice way to end the half.

Hate that our secondary is playing with deep leverage on everything against this QB and going into the wind.  Need to be way more aggressive on vertical routes in this situation.

I know there’s always a point you have to move on from vets but I’d love to have Taylor still on this team.

That was great coverage on an elite receiver.

Rode hardrick into a sack

Was gonna mention earlier...every Brown out makes me cringe

Where Roberson was is where our DB's should be in a wind game.
