    The fault in that thought is that it assumes the other team won't score.  They get the ball too.

    Maybe, but they've been doing it all year and we haven't seen any consequences.

    That's just one of those ones, you got the first down by a bunch, drop it down in bounds so the clock doesn't have to wait for the refs, move on.
