Could have been RTP the way Lanier blatantly drove Cornelius' shoulder into the ground with full body weight.

I thought the same, but has the CFL adapted that rule? I know the NFL has.

The CFL doesn't call that. I've never seen it.

Perhaps not. Not sure to be honest. In general the CFL does seem to be a bit more "old school" in what they deem still legal given some of the hits they allow over the middle by opposing safeties. I'll always appreciate that about the CFL, but I'm sure it's bound to change eventually.

These teams are pretty much mirror images of each other- decent defences, very questionable quarterbacking, porous O-lines and good receivers.

1. The only reason that both missed the playoffs for the first time is that Edmonton has been historically good- the Rough Riders have been historically terrible. Nice out of context statistic.

2. Awful pick by Harris

Watched the first half.

Corny has terrible accuracy (same as last year) and is going to get his receivers hurt.  He's like Alex Brink with a rocket arm.     Why Edmonton doesn't dink and dunk with Brown I don't get it.    Also very undisciplined (shocked with all those former Riders on the club),  Ceresna also with a terrible  penalty earlier on.

Saskatchewan does look a lot better and more disciplined then the previous years.   No run game so far at all,  the receivers though are far improved.   I don't see the #2 team but they should be better this year.

EE looking better than last year, bar not that high but still encouraging. Eugene Lewis is a godsend for TC.

Seeing more discipline has been nice.

With Marino, Leonard, Edem, and Williams gone… maybe there’s a better semblance of control.

So far.

Lanier seems like a 15 yard penalty waiting to happen.

Cornelius has zero touch...if he can't fix that he's a lost cause I think cause lacks pocket presence too

Sask online...still garbage...hard to believe it got worse but has..at least last yr they had a semblance of a run game ..and now with that sad sack receiving core it gonna be tough sledding

They lucky Edm has 2 rookies in secondary...or it prob be 0 points in half

Harris ain't taking any team to promised land ..any pressure and he is brutal

LOL Lauther

"I thought we just wanted the rouge!"

Is it just me...or does Craigy Dicklesson just look clueless bordering on stunned when they show him on the sidelines?

Brescacin moves like he's a converted OL playing receiver.

That last sack was a bad one to take.

Feel like this game will be won by a pick six.

edmonton doing "the don" rush everyone

thought i saw a facemask by sask olineman

J-Min Pelley is 6’5 330 lbs.

The 6’5” I would believe.

Man how do you not go for the endzone here?

I genuinely think Trevor Harris might be faster than Brescasin.

Was gonna say...slow and very un-agile looking
