week 3 other games

elks v lions... Edmonton team site:

  • Despite the Elks 0-2 start, they enter the night averaging the second most yards per game in the CFL at 371. That’s second only to BC, who is the lone club to average over 400 yards per game (409).
  • Former Edmonton QB Michael Reilly’s troublesome throwing elbow hasn’t equaled incompletions. Reilly leads the CFL in completion percentage at 75.4 per cent.
  • Trevor Harris comes into the game as the CFL’s leading passer with 566 yards, just ahead of Reilly’s 545 yards.
  • LOL Harris.

BC secondary making Harris look better than he is.

There's a damn flag on every other play it seems.

I don’t think you can fault Lucky or the Bombers. Lucky probably felt he would be the #4-5 receiver and he am opportunity to be a top 2 receiver in BC. Bombers probably didn’t have the cash to pay him what he wanted.

I fault plop. He could've been the no2 here too. The under use and poor use of great talent pisses me off.

Is the cfl gonna step in about the crop top by the time we play the elk or what. Soo bush that he is getting a with it for a 3rd week.

BC has an attrocious front 7

I think hladik will be a player. Most of the rest is up jumped tcf

Although I think the interview with the new owner was very important and not as egregious as other in-game interviews have been (Keith Urban, anyone?), could they have not waited until half time and devoted that free time to him instead of the usual panel rather than miss 5 minutes of game action including a TD drive?

It's like they forgot how to protect. Or you know it's like bc has a lousy ol.

Right. Those box mid game interviews are awful.

No matter how much fans complain, TSN will never change. Why should they? There's no competition.

True. Gotta wait for the dinosaurs to age out for any hope at substantial change. I wanna see some Tony Romo xs and os in the booth. The booth Is sub John madden quality level.

I really liked the new Lions owner from everything I've seen/heard/read. Happy for them and the league.

Edmonton coach pleading with officials that it was Sean Whyte's birthday and he also was just short of 1,500 points.

Gotta say never seen it overturned like that though

I know it means different things in different cultures and that recently it’s been used or claimed to have been used as a white power sign. Will be interesting to see if anything comes of it.

Nice route by lucky

I just wish Suitor would just stop yapping. Especially about the rules & if a TD is a TD. Just. Stop.

Chippy affair here....

Cfl site has an article on why scoring is down. Yardage averages and percents are all on pace. They say offenses just need to gel.

But the refs are putting up 200 yards a game right now. And thats huge.
