These are the kind of contracts that throw the whole NHL salary structure out of whack. Ridiculous overpay.

Wayne Simmonds is quickly becoming the Kevin Glenn of the NHL. Get all them Jerseys Wayne. 🙂

I feel for Little, and for the Jets also.

Weird events occurring two years in a row for the Jets team.

I read that he's working with Helle's trainer who changed the way he stood, which has helped him become a Vezina trophy winner.

Best thing is that Little retires, but i doubt that Little is going to throw that money away. That contract looks worse and worse for Chevy. See that St Louis threw 45 million at Krug who will be 36 when that runs out, seems like these GM never learn.

Little to LTIR seems likely.

Potentially gives us the $ for another D.

Because Chevy could predict that Little would get a head injury from a freak accident?    So we should never sign any long term contracts just in case someone gets head trauma?

But he was still playing at a high level and didn't show any signs of slowing down?

Travis Hamonic is out there as a free agent. Should the Jets sign him?

As per the reason he didnt play for CAL in playoffs I don't think he'll play until there's a Covid vaccine.

That you could definitely debate, but in general giving long term contracts to older players is a bad gamble. The days of showing loyalty is long gone, for both players and owners. It's about the bucks now.

Then his career may be over.

Minimum wage aint what it used to be.

Apparently as part of the deal he is forbidden from playing with footballs again.

On a more serious note, can he be the next Perreault?

In unrelated news, Josh Anderson has recently commissioned Dr. Ronny Jackson as his personal Physician and spokesperson.
