  • yeah that draft, and the high upside potential of Oliveira, Eli and Griffths affords us the luxury of this year not really having a need to roster someone from this draft, and would be a good draft fo

Imagine believing that the Riders had "no glaring needs", NI or otherwise...........

With that much confidence they might as well skip the draft this year. Why waste all this time on players they dont need.

BC trades up to grab the 1st overall pick. Didn't give up much either to get there

1st and 15th for 3rd and 12th?

Seems dumb by Calgary, imo

3rd overall going to save them that much? They might have to trade down a couple times haha

Maybe Huff owed Hervey some future considerations

I'd imagine they wanted an olineman and they knew they'd get one of them in the top 3 especially considering they knew who BC wanted.

And once the oline men start being picked there's usually a run of them

But still seems like they could have got a bit more

And then they pick a DL

3 picks and no OL yet, feels strange. but the talent pool is crazy deep, all 3 teams have gotten good prospects.

ooof. makes me glad we dont have a first rounder this year.

and here come the run on ol!.

Hide those Fantuz Flakes!

So, Dave Naylor has an NFL helmet but no CFL.

Man you look at some teams history of 1st round picks and you wonder if they should just defer to the 2nd round

BC is horribly bad. Swing & a miss every year since 2014.

Have to think the Riders will go offensive line. They aren't going to get away with holding forever

Churchill was #40 in the CFL mock draft. Goes #9 with our traded pick

Drafting a guy turning 26 when you're probably drafting for 2021 if things go well....
