  • The Diversity Is Strength campaign is one of the best things the CFL has ever done!!! Players and fans all loved it. By far the highlight of Ambrosie's reign.

  • Collaros is 4-15 since returning from injury... including the 0-8 from last season. This is a guy who has never played more than 14 games in a season and never thrown over 3500 yards.  He has bee

Crazy. A few years ago Collaros and Willy were supposed to be the future... Couple years later... Couple crappy olines later... Both look done.

Rob Bagg cut by the Riders.

Bagg has already received a large chunk of off-season money from the #Riders. #CFL - John Hodge

Wow.  Very questionable decision by the Riders considering their awful Canadian talent.

Isn't Rob Bagg a fan favourite in Sask?

Also, last season, I thought he played pretty well.

Lol. Jones. Disloyal? Youre cut. Loyal ? Who cares youre cut too.

Someone has to say this - will he retire if we sign him ? 😂

So they cut Bagg and Harty has a serious injury, does that not make Devon Bailey their starting NI WR?

Bakari Grant cut by the Riders too.

Pretty much..lol

And if messam gets dinged or hurt in game..they need to bring in another national somewhere on offense...oh my

They may go All American with their receivers which means there'll be veterans cut at other positions.

Pretty sure they will scour every cuts/releases league-wide and pick up their NAT content from there.

Lost a lot of respect for Grant last year with his antics in front of the cameras on the sidelines. When he was in Calgary he was a pro who quietly went bout his business & was solid. A leader on the Stamps receiving corps. When he got to the Riders he became a showboating loud mouth on the bench & field. The Duron Carter Effect I bet.

It's Chris Jones. When your leadership is a bunch of tools the players act like a bunch of tools.  Calgary has classy folks in charge and their players act better. Same deal in Winnipeg. It starts at the top and trickles down.

Who the heck are the Riders 7 starting NIS? Labbatte, Clark, Edem, Hurl, Bailey, Evans, Messam? Bagg, Grant and Owens cut at receiver apparently.

Not the strongest group from what I see.

So, they will have to start Hurl?

that won't work out well. Won't matter where they put him.

I think that was the plan all along. For Hurl to be a starter.

So they think they can get more out of him than O'Shea/Hall were able to I guess.

Don't think so.

Slash..slash.. slice..slice..gotta make SMS somehow.. razor thin depth..zero Canadian "quality" starters..maybe Evan's but he isn't an 80 percent of plays kind of guy..he will be worse right out..or hurt by mid season..what a mess there

Why else would they sign Hurl & let Muamba go? That is the plan. As crazy as it is. They wanted to get cheaper at MAC. Spend $$$ at other positions.

They still have Steele and Bladek. They could be pushing for starting spots too. Not that they're any better. But they are on the roster.

It sounds like Chad Owens is being chopped as well.

Haha..if those are the starters...yikes..and then..what the hell is backing them up??

Knowing Jones a db who looks so sexy in his uniform on d line and and American rb sho measures well on tests lol

Looking at those cuts, you have to wonder how bad the Riders SMS status is.
