  • apparently he suffered a significant injury......depending on recovery, could be back in camp next spring. This seems like a paperwork move....

  • Sorry for just barging in here, but...While the Bombers could stick another guy in and run a 2-back set, that's still a long ways from replacing Flanders.  The Bombers weren't having success because F

As much as can be determined by a highlight reel, Bauman looks very interesting. He runs with great balance and determination, seems quick and fast enough to beat DBs and looks to have surprising power. These late additions usually are looksees for next year, but he reminds me a lot of ChuckBob.

Bauman seems like a solid depth signing at tailback.

Signing a RB, is this a sign that Flanders may miss more time? At the very least they are preparing for that scenario, however unlikely/likely it is.

That, and maybe they want to push Flanders. Sometimes a player returns from injury and has lost his edge.

none of these signings are likely to help this year. This is all about getting a head start on next year's TC...

Nice to get another RB on the PR...

Did we already cut a QB from the PR - I thought they signed two not that long ago...?

Also want to mention that its great seeing our PR fully utilized...

I thought I heard tha he was 6 game'd but definitely just a rumour, no confirmation..

I like to see of Bauman play on special teams as a returner... while hes trying to learn the O.

He seemed to read his blocking well and broke a couple of tackles so that might be a good place for him to show his stuff. A scatback mostly relies on reaction and instinct, so he shouldn't take long to either return kicks or be a replacement for Flanders if need be. Look at how well and how quickly Gable settled in to the Esks' offence.

This makes me wish Cory "poop" Johnson was a RB for the sheer nickname hilarity.

Are you saying he might be a stoolie?

Man he is some thing else to watch run. Good single cut runners are harder to find then balanced / power backs. A good multi cut back runner is exceedingly rare. Under sized (5'7 194) dominant big sky conference scat back with good hands and good but not great speed (mid 4.4s-4.5)  and minimal NFL interest.  Lighting cant strike twice... And now that ive gushed about him we can go ahead and cut him LOL. Sounds like a potential MOS guy though. Dare to dream i guess.

"Extremely tough competitor. Outstanding work ethic. Excellent character. Good ball security. Experienced four-year starter."

The NFL website listed him a bit heavier and a bit taller, but he sounds very interesting- maybe a Charlie Roberts sort of a player. We can only hope.

I didnt see a combine appearance so its a bit up in the air. But yeah he certainly seems to be in that blink height range.  With his shape and the stuff written about him he doesnt seem the at teasers with a pack, bottle n 2 hotties 12 hours before a game type. Heres hoping though, I do love to watch a quick change of direction undersized type play.

That one move near the start of the video where he's running into a pack of guys and spins out and finds space has Charles Roberts written all over it. Gotta see if he can disappear into a pile of lineman and then see him squirt out the other side magically.

Watching Roberts do that week in and week out was such a thing of beauty.

That and watching him shed tackles by and  bounce off guys twice his size. Watching first contact be 5 yards in the back field then some how he manages a 5-6 yard gain. If he had had a premiere OL and mike sellers blocking for him his whole career no records would have been left standing.

He's a little bigger than Roberts...but yeah, I like this guys moves!

Bloody shame that they couldn't assemble a premiere OL until the Berry era.
