  • I'm no expert like some folks pretend to be but couple DL. Couple OL. Couple WR. And a guy Justin Dunk had as his number 1 DB and a kicker who Rob Maver said was the best punter taken in years sounds

  • bladek # 19, ekakitie #26, herdman #2, idk if i could possibly agree less with that list. that list is at the pederson level of quality. you never go full pederson.

    are you ******* kidding me.......?  This is the first I heard of Gray being a Riders guy.....my enthusiasm for him just dropped HUGE. Wow....there are few things in the world I detest more than people

Yes, he retired a few weeks ago citing past injuries as the reason for doing so.

He'll probably remain listed as a FA on the CFL page until he fills out whatever retirement paperwork exists.

just some food for thought about this past draft;

Bombers nearly got everyone they wanted,  with the exception being BC taking Vandervoort at #3.

If Vandervoort was still available at #6 we may not have made that trade with Calgary for 8 and 34.

reason Gray was taken as 8 was because the Bombers felt he would not be available in the later rounds. He would have gone no later than 15th for us so either way it was a reasonably high pick being used.

Sounds like Menard-Briere and Thera-Plamondon should stick with our team barring a complete bed *****ing at TC. They may be looking at Medlock doing sole duty of place kicking while MB handles punts, and TP working on being our future long snapper. Seems fitting they get drafted together since they could end up working with each other directly for a few years, good to build chemistry asap

There is no way Vandervoort was going to be available at #6. It was no secret that Hamilton would have taken him at #4 if BC hadn't picked him.

Just saying that Vandervoort was the only guy we wanted that we didn't get, and if by some small miracle was available at 6 would have changed our draft quite a bit

Based on everything I've read, MB is going back to school and only in TC so Medlock won't have to punt as much (save his leg).... I highly doubt he makes the club unless he is so good that they can't send him back... But even then...

This is what ive gotten too. If he kicks like young jon ryan. But if he did and punts that well in college next year couldnt he be drafted by the nfl?

Idk which would give him a better path to the nfl, here or college.  If hes at camp though and spares medlocks leg some work for TC thats a win though. Considering we got that pick for free from going down 2 spots to still pick gray. He shows the promise and upside though.
