I haven't been spitballin' mad here for years now. I've worked hard to calm down & reign it in a lot as I know that I can be a difficult poster to deal with & have been in the past. I'm not perfect as I still have my moments but I try everyday to be better as well as gain people's trust here.
Not that I want anyone to feel sorry for me but a lot of the anger I have/had was from anxiety & depression which I've suffered from for years all the way back to Grade 10 when I first had suicidal thoughts as school for me that year was an abysmal failure. Or just suck it up!!
It went undiagnosed for decades. It was always, "He has a bad temper." Well, yes & no as it was more than that. But when you feel some days like you're going to die if you leave the house, it's a tough life not knowing why. I was so angry, nervous & sad all the time. I've sought professional help & it is helping. Anyway, enough!
I don't want to be the person here I used to be.

From my one report he honestly didn't look like he was running at the same pace as the other receivers. Especially for a guy that isn't that big.
That said, it is highly unlikely that I know what I'm talking about

I absolutely love our home and away jerseys.  I was kind of hoping the Third Jersey would have been primarily gold and the helmets a reflective gold or blue.  Something completely different than anything in the past but keeping with the blue and gold colour scheme and of course the W.

Not sure why we would even consider Glenn. In training camp and based on last year's performance as well as that in training camp we had Streveler, McGuire, Bennett and Nichols. Now Nichols goes down and we released Bennett because our coaching staff determined that Streveler and McGuire were the better two of the last three behind Nichols. Okay so you have a half season to go should Nichols not return. I would hope that the decision of the backup QBs was based on something other than standing around holding a clip board. These two guys now have a chance to show us and the coaches that they made the right decision. As has been said many times before next man up so why change at QB. I think Streveler given some quality reps with the first team, McGuire given some reps as well will bode well for us down the stretch. If they both continue to develop as the season winds down, we are at the half way point right now, we should win a few more games and get us into the playoffs. Hopefully by that time they will be well conversant with the play book and be more comfortable reading defenses etc.
My big concern isn't so much how these two will develop but rather can or will Lapo change his game plan to suit their strength and develop their confidence with a play book designed for them. He did it for Nichols, dink, dunk and once in awhile, last game example, toss it deep as a change of pace, so why can he not do that for these two. Steveler has a gun, albeit not as accurate right now as one would hope, but he can run and throw on the run as well. McGuire in the short period of time we have seen him can also throw it good and has a good escape ability. So we have a cushion to work with. Let's see what happens and should Nichols be able to return prior to the end of the season or the playoffs then let him take over again with a short leash. We all know when he returns from injury he isn't the same as when he left.
    Time will tell.

Ok let me take a stab at this game... Andrew Harris’ biggest run of the night was at the end of the half when just trying to kill the clock. Take that run away (the game we’re doing by taking Nichols long passes away for god knows what reason) and Harris’ numbers aren’t all that great. Add in Harris’ two fumble game against Edmonton. Ergo, Harris is a steaming pile of Rider crap!
Did I do it right? What do I win??
We scored more points in the first half of this game than we have in the entire game of any of our three previous wins (five if you want to include pre-season).
We’re 4-0 for the first time in 16 years.
We are the only undefeated team in the league.
We are the only team that has beaten Edmonton and Ottawa.
We find a new way to win every week.
Are we perfect? No, of course not. But as it stands, at this point in time, we appear to be closer to “perfect” than any other team in the league. I really wish more people watched all the non-Bomber games, we are far and away the most complete, put together team out there.
Let’s also consider that we had Hardrick, Matthews, Whitehead, Bighill, Briggs, Hecht and probably more I’m forgetting out for all or most of the game.
Everyone keeps saying “if we let up like that against a good team...”. News flash: We did. Against Edmonton. Guess what? They still didn’t beat us, and we didn’t even put up 48 in that one. So considering that we let up against Edmonton with 28 points and won, it’s fair to say had we done hat with 37 points or 41 points or 48 points... one sec, gotta so a quick calculation...carry the three...deduct anything good Nichols did...ignore anything bad Streveler did... yup, we would’ve still won.
Point being: you don’t need to be perfect, you just need to be better than your opponent. So far we’ve been better than all our opponents, fairly convincingly.

Well friends, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers marched into La Belle Province tonight trying to get to 7 wins by the halfway mark of the season for the first time since the halcyon days of Kahari Jones (editor's note, actually they were 7-1 back in 2011), and more importantly to keep pace with the leaders in the Western conference heading into the Labour Day weekend. And despite the temptations of St. Laurent street, which has led more than one young player astray in the wee hours of the morning, the Bombers showed no ill effects as they jumped out to a 10-0 lead before the teams switched sides for the first time. But as we have come to expect with this team, nothing comes easy for them, and close games that come down to the wire are as predictable for them as it is to hear Nick Hill saying "Come ooooon down" during our commercial breaks. So it was no surprise to see the Alouettes storm back and tie the game up with a last second field goal to send us into overtime all evened up. But a little extra football never hurt anyone, and the Bombers got the job done when they needed to, and it all turned out nice again.
Now as is the custom after a game, I bestow the Happy Honker award on a player that in my mind is the most deserving of it. Now as you know, the Happy Honker ward does not usually go to the best player in the game, but is given to that player who did something just that little extra special, that made you stand up and take notice, that maybe made an impact on that one play. And for 60 minutes it looked like that player who was going to receive the Happy Honker Award was special teamer Ryan Langford, who ran down Stefan Logan when it looked like he was going to return kick all the way for a touchdown, which of course led to Maurice Leggett corralling a fumble 2 plays later and the All came away with nothing when it looked like they might get 7, and with the game going to overtime, those lost points certainly cost Montreal.
But the game did not end after 60 minutes, and so the Happy Honker does not stop there. We got an extra game, 2 extra games in fact, and therefore this Happy Honker is all about 2. In the first extra session, on down number 2 at the opposition 10 yard line. Matt Nicholas hit Clarence Denmark, who 95% percent of people may want to get rid of when the Bombers sign Derel Walker, or so I have read, and Denmark made a great grab, changed hands with the ball, and stretched over the goal line falling down for touchdown number 2 on the night, and that was a touchdown the Bombers absolutely needed to keep their hopes alive in the end, so that is Happy Honker #1. But as I said, this Award is all about 2, so there is a second Happy Honker tonight. In overtime #2, Darian Durant threw a pass over the middle but failed to see Chris Randle cutting across the field, and Randle made a beautiful play to get interception #2 on the night, and all that was left was for Justin Medlock to kick yet another game winning field goal to send the Bomber fans off happily into the night, and with it 2 points for the Bombers in the standings. So my 2 Happy Honker Awards tonight go to Clarence Denmark and Chris Randle, for 2 big plays on 2 overtime drives that gave the Bombers 2 big points.

211-216 should do it.  We go to about three games a year, and sit in section 217 and get a bit of the visitor's bench. Sadly attendance hasn't been great so you should have a chance of getting decent seats.

Exactly. A guy who will more often then not win the meaningless games but any adversity and tanks. Any pressure and it's fumble or INT time. I honestly cannot recall another QB who's given away games in forth quarters by making a horrible play or decision or not going full out to make that marker.. Sure, he's hung around forever but he lacks the intangibles that makes him worth delaying development of our own backups..
