At this point of the season, and considering what has happened in the past, if Brohm gets in this game and makes a major mistake the fans will let him have it. Rightly or wrongly, Bomber fans don't have much mercy on QBs who don't perform, and Brohm is at that point where he will no longer be tolerated by our fans....so...maybe the best thing for our organization is to start him this game!

So what is wrong with marve? Is he hurt? I guess no one know since he takes no reps in practice...

It is frustrating to me that i see other coaches in this league throw out 3rd string qbs like montreal (actually i think kito was a 4th stringer) and now edmonton who is playing their 3rd stringer....but not us....

Firing isn't the answer but he is waaaaay too stubborn with his decisions such as back up qb and the one or two point converts. Very frustrating.....

It was not brohms fault on 2 of those picks. However, it does seem to me that the whole bomber team is under a huge letdown or sigh when they see brohm enter the game. Maybe i am seei g something that is not there but that is what it looks like to me. Okay, now only 2 picks, but that other ball was underthrown.

Chamblins job with the riders is safe for this year. The earliest they would change is at seasons end. No coach could do any better here (Saskatchewan) with all the inuries riders have now.

My favorite football announcer of all time has to be Don Wittman. Loved his tone and passion. Plus, he was a Winnipeg guy, wasn't he? And yes, Cole is past his prime, but I still love hearing him.

Bob Cole is the best play by play announcer for hockey, but Cuthbert is CFL footballs best. However, Dunigan is great for a laugh and says it like he sees it. Love him and Gord Miller.

Yes it's popular to start piling on the riders, heh i'm a bomber fan out here in SK and i love it, but lets also remember that the riders have lots of injuries right now and have been in every game with a chance to win. We will need every rider loss right now to have a chance at a playoff spot down the stretch. It will be a dog fight all year.

Hmmm. Dont know who this guy is but I do love the effort put in by our GM and coach. IT appears we are no longer an automatic NO for players who consider CFL teams. We will be competitive this year and me thinks we have improved our personnel and or backups in nearly every position.

So if he makes the team what is the over under for how many times during the season his situation will be mentioned - like maybe a thousand? Don't know about you guys but this news is getting pretty old.

Well, who says Marve and Portis will be 3rd and 4th stringers? Last year Marve was the best QB in preseason games and if he is again he might move up one spot. But a good signing if this happens

All I can say is "Wow". Never expected us to upgrade the weakest part of our team this fast! Really quite impressed with Walters even if we now sign no other free agents.

IMHO Henann has a good chance at making an NFL roster. He is only 25, has some playing experience, has quick feet, is smart, and is a quick learner. Good luck to him. Good thing we signed Pichard as he likely will be our only off-season free-agent signing.
