I never said Tkachuk sucks, I just don't think he's the guy the Jets should be targeting with their pick. I think there are better options out there. Jets have a bit of LW depth, they lack LHD depth big time and Centers, well, you can never have 2 many centers cuz they can play other positions. It's not easy for a LW like Tkachuk to come and play Center. It is easier for a guy like Keller or Dubois who are natural centers to play the wing tho. Tkachuk is fine if the LHD guys or Centers are gone when we are picking, I just think we will be picking top 5, top 3 even and I don't see us taking Tkachuk. Matthews, Laine,Puljujarvi,Dubois,Chychrun,Sergachev. 2 Centers. 2 wingers. 2 LHD. What it will come down 2 is how well they interview also, None of us will be there for that, so to be quite honest, just based on the Jets drafting record so far, whoever they pick, That's fine with me. I just don't think they will take Tkachuk over a LHD.

Scheif won't be getting a bridge, he will sign long term, Trouba might get a bridge but i actually see the Jets signing both long term. I'm not gonna bother guessing the amount cuz i'm not the GM so it's not really my problem but... 7 or 8 years for Both probably works.

I'll break it down Jets pick first Matthews Jets pick 2nd or 3rd Laine/Dubois/Puljujarvi are the likely choices. Jets pick 4 5th or later Sergachev,Chychrun,Juolevi, Nylander,Tkachuk,Keller <--- really it's wide open. I don't see Bean going top 10, I like him and would be fine with taking him if we picked like 15th or 16th but not in the top 10. I could see them going LHD if they pick 4th or later, I could also see them going BPA regardless of positional need cuz there is no guarantee that a guy like Chychrun for example turns out.. The one thing you can never have 2 many of tho are centers... Matthews, Dubois,Keller are 3 guys i wouldn't be surprised if the Jets took. Depending on where they pick of course. Dubois has #1 center potential, so does Keller, that plays a role here. Really like Keller, guy is gonna be a huge steal to whoever takes him. If the Jets aren't picking top 5, I'd definitely be more than fine with them taking Keller at hell i'd take him at 5th even, but 5th or later, I think Keller is the guy. He just screams the type of player the Jets want and target, high end hockey skill, smarts and just a hard worker with good character.

The White Ropes have something to do with some sort of awareness thing they are promoting. I'm not sure which one but for example, during their breast cancer awareness thing, one rope is pink.. The white ropes mean something, i read it somewhere, i just can't remember what it means. It's something to do with awareness tho.

I'm not sure Petan will but I'd bet De Leo does for sure. De Leo before Petan. Keep in mind, Petan is playing as a center right now so for him to be called up a center would more than likely need to get injured.
