The history or heritage of Winnipeg hockey was honored. You know what... guys like Hawerchuk or Teemu or Steen or etc might be honored by Arizona but they never played there... maybe Steen did but... bottom line those are Winnipeg hockey icons. You think they'd play In an Arizona alumni game? Nah no chance. What they did happened with Winnipeg. Minnesota did it right... north stars moved to Dallas... they got a team back... called them the Wild... had an alumni game and both North Stars and Wild alumni were represented. It's hard tho for the Jets cuz... what? Should Chris Mason or Antropov been here? No. Kovalchuk? No. He has nothing to do with Winnipeg or its hockey history and this is what it's all about... forget the name Jets... it's irrelevant... they could be called the Moose but when you are honoring the history of hockey in Winnipeg... it's WHA... it's 80s... it's 90s. ... it's Jets but more importantly it's about Winnipeg.

It shows that coaching might be an issue. Laine made a bad play... Oilers scored. He was kind of benched a bit. Buff plays like crap... Stafford plays like crap... they get more ice time. It's an issue and sends an interesting but confusing message. Stafford and Lowry on the PP also sends an interesting but confusing message. Coming out flat every 2nd period is similar to a football team who doesn't adjust at the half. I like Maurice but at times he takes to long to adjust and really favors veterans even if they are struggling big time. But I guess I'll steal a quote from Warren Buffet on success... you can't produce a baby In 1 month by getting 9 girls pregnant. What that means Is success takes time and patience. I don't think Maurice is on the clock but at the same time if nothing improves... pp pk etc by game 25 30... then perhaps we can talk about it a bit more.

Similar to Ehlers I'd say. Had his best game vs the leafs. You also have to keep in mind that he's playing with Burmi.

Buff has been the worst D man every game. Myers was good last game and this game. Goaltending? When we don't get 1 goal gonna talk goaltending?

Was one of the better lines. Lowry is technically 4th line tho.

That's outdoors for ya. Jets actually played well in the first and probably 5 minutes of the 2nd and 10 minutes of the third. Couple bounces and that's that. They weren't awful but not good exactly. Oilers had some crap bounces too tho. Puck was bouncing out there lots tho.

Talbot is a good goalie and going back to last year... he's had the jets number. Bouncing puck tho and underperforming vets like buff and stafford don't help

Puck bouncing like a beach ball out there but giving up a short handed goal was brutal. Can't judge the team on this game at all but buffs been pretty bad every game so far.

Interesting that they might delay the start time of the game tomorrow. Why? Because it might be 2 sunny. Odd considering a game was played in California

I want to say the cap doesn't really apply in the playoffs plus the Jets could Could Could retain up to 50 percent of his contract... so staff at let's say 800 000 ? That's a pretty nice pickup for a team looking for some playoff help.

I've been watching and yeah Hillary is a lying "nasty woman" for sure but... at the same time, Trump is a racist homophobe who brags about basically sexually assaulting people. So your choice is a "nasty woman" or basically, a piece of **** human being who is hated by his own party and is dividing a country. Tough Choice...I'd vote for the third party candidate and hopefully Americans do also, if they really want to send a message, Trump and Hillary will lose.

I think a guy like Petan or Lowry or someone along those lines, heck, even Armia is more likely to be part of a Trouba trade package than Stafford. Stafford will more than likely be dealt at the deadline for a 2nd or at worst 3rd round pick.... maybe both... maybe a 2nd and 4th.. who knows. Doesn't even have to be a pick in the 2017 draft, could be 2018... whatever. He's more than likely gone at the deadline or just before it. Lol. OK. They might be better than Stafford. But maybe talk to Maurice and Chevy cuz those are the guys that make the call. I get why Stafford is top 6. He scores goals... he doesn't suck...but he's not good in the D zone so you can't put him on a checking line. Has he struggled? For sure but so far a few guys have... and right now 4 games in you gotta give these guys time... long ass season. If stafford still struggling in a month or 2... perhaps it's time for the kids but.. it's not that time yet. It's not like taking stafford out of the top 6 magically solves all our problems.

Armia has a career 4 goals and 6 assists for 10 points in 47 career games. That's not exactly producing. Stafford? His worst season... he played 46 games and had 6 goals and 12 assists for 18 points. Stafford worst season is better than Armias career But it's a silly comparison here... Armia shouldn't be in the top 6... maybe stafford shouldn't be either tho so I don't get the comparison exactly. Why Armia? Why not a guy like Dano instead?

Yup. Armia is fine as a 3rd line winger who can PK. But and like I said I like him... he's a good player... but until he proves he can put up points.... he's really just a defensive specialist really. And that's fine. You need guys like that on your 3rd line aka checking line. Perhaps he does show he can put up points but until he does... he's bottom 6. I personally don't think Stafford is the answer either buy at this point... he's proven way more than Armia has. Armia was drafted the same year as Scheif... a few picks later actually... it's not like he's some rookie like Connor or Laine... he's almost at that point where it's make or break time for him.

Stafford is a proven 20 goal scorer in the nhl throughout his career. He has no future? Probably not but Armia might not either. It's likely armias future is either 1. Bottom 6 pk/defensive specialist or 2. Vegas. I like Armia... he shows flashes of brilliance at times but at this point.... he's not exactly putting up points. You know who else showed flashes at times? Burmi and I think we all agree he shouldn't be in the top 6 so why should Armia. Is it cuz Stafford isn't putting up goals? If so Armia isn't either... neither is buff for that matter. It's 4 games in. Lay off the stafford hate and jumping off bridges after 4 games. It's a long season. 78 games to go. Lots of time here. Stafford is a proven top 6 player... Armia is not. That's the bottom line right now.
