Normally I would assume that a guy like Lawless or Penton would know this but perhaps the bombers are growing tired of our local medias bs and are deciding to give the scoop to others. Not to read to much in to this but Stripping Stuart of the A might signify an interesting change. Perhaps he is a pressbox option now. All great choices for sure. Wheeler, like Maurice said, EARNED IT. Buff and Scheif are great choices also as they are 2 guys who committed to winnipeg long term very recently.

Why not? It's an ahl contract. My fear was he'd get an nhl deal but he didn't... don't see the issue with Cormier on the moose long term at all. You need veteran presences around for the young guys.

Ratings aren't like they used to be tho. I mean we now have PVR where you can record and watch later. You have Internet streams. All sorts of new technology really. Plus certain demographics are more important than others. For example lots of sports would try to appeal to the 18 to 49 crowds. Perhaps the tsn numbers are down in the older demo but growing in the 18 to 49 one.

Some speculation around that the Moose will be signing former Wheat King and Winnipeg born Scott Glennie. RW taken by Dallas high a few years ago in the Nhl draft. Never lived up to expectations but a very good goal scorer in the ahl. Moose might be a lot better this year.

In my opinion what bomber teams of the past have or haven't done in Regina on labour day is irrelevant. Because how many guys on the current team was involved in those. Not many. Bombers are a better team with a better D and special teams. I honestly feel like the Bombers are not only gonna win this Sunday but I think that a blowout is very very very very very very very very very possible also. I think Sask has an awful D and I think putting up over 30 on teams who are better than Sask means Bombers could hit 50. Ya bold but 55 to 12 is my guess. Ass a wooping
